I played the original version of crystal chronicles on the gamecube, and it had been one of my favorite games during the gamecube/ps2/xbox years. The game was original, had great music, and very fun combat, as well as a good system of upgrading your character. Ring of fates lives up to the quality of the original gamecube version. The combat is just as fun, and the leveling is still very good. Multiplayer was added wirelessly via ds's connected together. This was very convenient as the original crystal chronicles required each player to use a gameboy advance with a special cord if they wanted to play multiplayer. The music in this game reminds me a lot of the original, and the songs are very good. I really enjoy the crystal chronicles series and would reccomend them to any rpg fan or even casual gamer.
