Once a classic, always a classic

If you have played Final Fantasy for the original Nintendo and you enjoyed it, I would encourage you to pick this re-master up. It isn't as challenging as the original, but the refreshed graphics and more convenient gameplay, along with being able to play in either English or Japanese, make this classic game a good purchase, especially for any final fantasy fan. If you played the remake for the Playstation then you should know what to expect, but a handheld version does give a lot more options. Gameplay - 4 Replay - 3 Sound - 5 Graphics - 4 Multiplayer - N/A Overall - 4 stars

This is a classic, but that is exactly why you might not want to buy it(you have probably played it). There is a slight improvement in visuals and sound, but this isn't a remake or anything. It definitely is worth playing though, so if you haven't played it yet, this is the best iteration to buy.

This is a fun game, no doubt about it... The music is great, and it's replayable due to the different party classes you can put together... However, it isn't much of a challenge to beat. The original for NES was one of the hardest game I've ever played. This version just seems a little watered down as far as that area of the game goes. Still worth a couple plays through though!
