I love the FF7 series! Dirge of Cerberus isn't as great compared to the other games in the series. It is a shooter RPG....sort of odd genre. Well, the only thing I have problems with is graphics. The graphics are good for PS2 but not what I expect out of an FF7 game. The cut scenes on the other hand were more livily compared to Advent Children. If you're a fan of FF7, this game is a must!

Dirge of Cerberus takes place 2 years after Final Fantasy Advent Children. The main protagonist is my favorite character of Final Fantasy 7 Vincent Valentine. The story revolves around Vincent fighting against a bunch of Shinra soldiers known as DeepGround. The story is very good with great cutscenes and CGI scenes that are similar to the movie. DoC's gameplay is a bit too easy with weak DeepGround soldiers constantly attacking you. This is not your typical Final Fantasy, DoC is a third person shooter that is fun to play for beginners in shooters, but this game should be played mainly because of the protagonist Vincent's story of how he became what he is in the Final Fantasy series.
