Game of the year 2024, the bonus stuff was good too. The steelbook is super high quality.

My items were free of any dents or scratches. I wasn't too excited about the deluxe edition offerings this time around, and I much prefer this steelbook over the one that's given with the deluxe edition. So, I was able to save $30 by purchasing the standard edition here for a better steelbook. Thank you, Best Buy :D

The preorder bonus was awesome. Great item for a great value, much better than the other retailer offers - even better than Square Enix themselves. It looks awesome and added no cost or shipping to the order at all.

Great game love the series will definitely pre order part three its always nice to het free extras for a solid title your going to purchase anyway.

The Deluxe was $100, and I’d say it was well worth it since you receive plenty of items for just the extra $30. I did preorder so I also got an additional digital item.

Haven’t had chance to play due to work and huge backlog of games. It’s a pre order bonus and who doesn’t like pre order bonuses for in game use I’m sure it’s a stat buff.

Didn’t get the advertised steelbook. I mean, that’s why a lot of us pre-ordered, right? It was even in the picture and advertised up until release. Oh well, better luck next time. Such a shame =( I think for future reference, they need to be on those kinds of things if they run out. At least remove the picture that includes the preorder steelbook.

I really like the Steelbook Case. The in-game equipment is OK - becomes obsolete over time, but I forgot how long it was before I switched it out.

The Deluxe Edition for FF7 Rebirth is awesome. The stuff inside seems higher quality this time compared to the FF7 Remake deluxe edition.

Truly Awful shopping experience from BEST BUY which has inflicted within me to never trust their False Advertisements! Received my PREORDER with No shipping material protection & worst of all Some person packing my order did not include MY EXCLUSIVE PREORDER BONUS STEEL-BOOK CASE!

Great game. Mechanics heavily improved from the first in the remakes. Fun combat, new moves, great story and beautiful graphics. Wish best buy would do the preorder steelbooks still though.

What to say you can’t read on any gaming site. A LOT was crammed into this sprawling world. I’ll mention the grain of salt that is the frustration of learning the many side quest games. Queens blood, piano playing take some perseverance to understand but are addictive once the basics are garnered. Queens blood was a great side mission game series in and of itself. Combat is still the balanced blend of real time and turn based combat, but tact has improved benefits. I think it’s under appreciated but Barret became a staple member once he learned Life Saver ability. He absorbs all the damage for the team and you only need focus healing on one member rather than attempt to juggle heals. Also a great way to keep weaker members in the battle without worrying about KO’s The story while sometimes a bit muddied, still rang mostly true to the original. I loved getting Red XIIs backstory again in deeper lore and better action with the Gi. Other character appearances have me drooling for the third installment and I haven’t even beaten Rebirth completely yet and I’m 60 hours in with at least 20-30 hours left. So worth a pickup regardless if you played the original

Game is such a pleasure, bring joy and many tears. Second entries in a trilogy are often very difficult as they seek to enhance and expland everything in its predecessor, while setting up plot points for the third game. FF7 Remake already set the bar super high, and FF7 Rebirth just cleared those expectations. This second entry is up there with quality like LOTR: the Two Towers or SW: the Empire Strikes Back. Cannot wait for the third game. — Naturally, to make this review fair, couple of possible short comings for those on the fence: -Minigame Fatigue. There are a lot of minigames to say the least. All are very fun and offer a wide array of varying difficulties. They do not overstay their welcome by anymeans, but it could be overwelming for some. -Plot Point Adherence. For FF7 purist, Remake already proved where this lies and either you loved it or hated it. This game is true to what the developers have stated. Plot points in original FF7 are not missed, but order or angle these plots are tackled ‘could’ be different. Wont say anything else on it, just know they’re cookin’. EVERYTHING ELSE, enjoyable, memorable, magical, and emotional.

Fantastic game. Im enjoying trying to puzzle out where the new story will go relative to the original, and piecing it together has been fun.
