I never played the original FF7 back in the 90s, but these remakes have been incredible. Remake was great, and I think Rebirth is even better. Surprisingly fun open world, lots of great characters, and just an overall cozy JRPG.

Wow. I put about 180 hours into this to finish off all of the trophies. The graphics, music and gameplay are top notch! There may be too much to do for some. I can't wait for Part 3 of the FF7 Remake Trilogy.

THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST GAME OF 2024. COMBAT IS MORE REFINED AND THE GRAPHICS ARE REALLY GOOD. STORY KEEPS YOU GUESSING AND YOU REALLY GET INVESTED IN THE CHARACTERS.

The combat is fun, the story amazing, and there is enough content in here to keep you busy for a long time. Graphics mode looks amazing until you move the camera and you see the really distracting stutter, but the performance mode is so fuzzy the 60fps is almost not worth it. Overall if you can find the graphics setting that works for you the game is worth playing now.

Only 14 hours in, but so far it is as good if not better than the first part. Mechanics are great, fighting system is solid, graphics are fantastic and the music is good overall. Story is good in the first chapter and falls off a little in the third chapter that is short and so far the fourth chapter is good. The first chapter was like watching a movie at times.

A spectacular manifestation of a modern RPG. This game has truly mastered the action RPG combat system with multiple party members, while retaining some elements of a classic turn-based RPG. They've recreated a massive world outside of Midgar which, incredibly, requires no loading time. The voice cast put in superb performances in bringing to life the iconic characters. This game is not flawless however, it carries lots of bloat, which can be optional, if you can overcome OCD tendencies to check off every task. The ending will be divisive, there's no avoiding that, and there's one particular minor character who, incredulously, has the most voice lines in the game and will annoy you if you choose to partake in most of the side content.

If you enjoyed Remake, then Rebirth enhances on almost every system. Graphics and load times are better, vombat is way more fun with all the character interactions, and story adds emough new things for the OG fans.

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, the story is great and the combat is super fun. This is one of the few $70 games I have bought that I actually feel like I got enough game to make up for the price tag.

The game is actually is fantastic everything I thought the game was going to be and then some out of the mini games can be a bit annoying I don't think Best buy had to say what happened with the steelbook situation

Rebirth is a great entry into the Final Fantasy 7 series. It improves substantially on Remake. The game opens up quite a bit, and has an adequately dense open world. Taking breaks from the main quest line is very enjoyable as the game provides a decent variety of fun and engaging side quests and activities. The main story continues to deliver on what made the original FF7 story special. It also continues to throw intriguing twists and turns that continue the story of Remake from 2020. The combat also feels a bit more agile for a few characters and has a few new additions that propel it to a higher level than it was in Remake. Overall, Rebirth is a fantastice sequel to Renake. If you are a fan of 7 and Remake, this is a must buy.

Even if you didnt play remake, this is a must play and you dont need to have much backstory on the events of the previous game. The game does a good job to bring everybody up to speed with the story thus far.

40 hrs in, going open world was a big step up to what was a very linear first game. Between great character moments, impressive boss fights and a slew of fun mini games, I'm thoroughly enjoying Rebirth.

Was anticipating this game since 2020. I really liked Remake, but this one exceeded my expectations. It's beautiful, the music is great, and it talky brings my nostalgic to life. Can't wait for part 3.

The game is amazing, but shopping from Best Buy isn’t. Ordered the deluxe edition only for Best Buy to cancel it on me. Was promised that I would still receive the preorder bonus if I reordered a base version of the game from Best Buy only to be notified that they won’t be getting more copies of the steelbook in. Best Buy customer service does not know what the company itself has going on (since their customer service is an apple service). If you want a great game go to literally any other retailer because this buying experience definitely wasn’t the best

This game is huge. There is a ton of exploration, a ton of great mini-games, a great story with great music and great voice acting. This game exceeded my expectations and I’d highly recommend it.

Amazing game with plenty to offer to keep you busy and interested!! Amazing graphics, story, and gameplay. A Perfect addition into the Trilogy as it blows Remake away!!! Game of the year caliber!

So many games release these days that don't keep my attention. This game managed to hold my attention for the many hours I sunk into it. I was intrigued by the similarities and differences from the original game but now with a modern combat system and significant improvement to characters and growth. This game is truly worth playing for old fans and new fans alike.
