The game is absolutely fantastic 5 stars. Pre-order experience 1 star. But feel its unfair to dump on the game for BestBuy's practices. I was told at pickup they would reach out when they had more steelbooks, but have since confirmed I was never eligible for a steelbook in the first place. They need to FIX their marketing, instead of leaving it vague to amass as many preorders as possible. When steelbooks ran out, the webpage should have added that note to ALL preorders so it was very clear. But Bestbuy would rather have more disappointed customers than less customers it seems. It's shady and deceptive and not fair. I was be very cautious preordering from BestBuy moving forward.

It's a great continuation of the story of part 1 (Remake) with fun additions/changes to the combat system, exploration and side activities. The story is engaging, thrilling, and pulls at the heart with both serious and lighthearted dialogue. The visuals can be stunning. If I find any issue it is sometimes the open world map clearing can be a bit tedious when you are excited to continue the story to see how it progresses.

Square really nailed it this time as it was much better than i even expected. Wonderful open world with polished combat and lots of side quests. I couldnt have asked for a better game.

Amazing! Probably one of the top games I've played. It's beautiful, it's fun, and there is just so much to do. The main story is great and the optional side quests are so fun!

"Final Fantasy VII Rebirth" on PS5 is a stunning achievement. The graphics are breathtaking, bringing the world of Gaia to life with incredible detail. Awesome game fast order and perfect condition 10/10

I've been waiting to get this game since it was first announced, it has amazing graphics the best looking final fantasy game yet, with great combat and a very entertaining story,

This game is twice as good than the last one or even better. The open world looks amazing, the game play is fun and the graphics are beautiful. A must buy for final fantasy fans.

Love this game, had no issues with Best Buy either. If you're planning on playing this game, you should play FF7 Remake Intergrade first as that is the prequel to this one.

Wish it was still turn based, butbthenstorybisnoutstanding and the gameplay is smooth. cant wait to see how much changes from the original

I enjoyed my time with the game. For the reference Im about 25 hours in the game chapter 7 I enjoyed combat and seeing the difference from the original what I didn't enjoyed were some of the mini games you had to complete for the side quest. Wasn't the biggest fan of queen blood or fort condor.

Good game but man does it drag. I think if you're a FF7 fan, you kind of expect it at this point. Ganeplay is tight though.

They kept to the spirit of FF7 PS1 but added and expanded upon the story since modern tech would allow for it. Will look even better once its released on PC.

So I love Final Fantasy and have played the original (FFVII) to 100%, I like this game a lot. It's really cool to see everything remade with amazing graphics and they've added a lot of extra stuff to do. But the reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it's the second game I've had to buy and there is still a third one coming out. It just feels bad to play the first game then same game but you have to buy the next adventure and you start over and after that I imagine that when the third game comes out I'll have to buy it and start over again. and if you wait long enough it will be released on PlayStation plus for free... I can't recommend buying at full price unless you're a big fan like me. just wait until it gets a discount or gets added to the PlayStation plus library like the first one did

One of the best games I’ve ever played. This is the “Empire Strikes Back” of the Final fantasy VIII trilogy. Can’t wait to play through it again.

This game is awesome, some corny diologue here and there but the story itself is very good. Definitely needs a patch for visual quality in performance mode though

I had high expectations for this game and it surpassed them all. I highly recommend it for anyone that loves a good fantasy game with a great story and gameplay.

Another masterpiece! Loved the original and loved what they did with Remake. This continues the story and adds an open world that is stunning and fun to explore.
