Demands two different reviews: For OG fans: It's great, if you're not the type to get religiously hung-up on questions of accuracy. If you're here to have a good time you'll have a good time. Is there a lot of filler? Kinda. But most of it is either optional or involves the combat ... which is arguably the best JRPG combat system ever created. So ... good. I'm happy for the 'filler', cause it's a good excuse to fiddle around with the combat. For the newbies ... definitely, definitely, do not start with this game. I've been seeing that from quite a few people, and it baffles me. Nothing will make sense to you. 1) FF7R is a great game and found perfectly cheaply, just go play that. 2) Even FF7R isn't great at telling its story for new players. This is NOT a straightforward retelling of FF7. There are meta-aspects of what it's doing that will confound you if you don't have the context of having played the original. So either play that, or play Remake and read a wikipedia synopsis of its plot.

Amazing Game. Every character is well acted and is very unique. The combat is incredible and the graphics are incredible. Any Final Fantasy fan will love this game.

Square Enix has made a massive sequel to FF 7 Remake. And while the story doesn’t quite live up to the original, the gameplay and graphics fair exceed expectations.

Played and completed the original on PS1. At that tiime, i couldn’t imagine that game getting any better as it was already a masterpiece but here we are again!

I grew up with this game and it definitely has not disappointed. It was easy for us to pick up at Best Buy and has been enjoyable whenever we have time to play.

This is a great game. I enjoy the story, side quests, the mini-games, and I have put a lot of hours into it. If you are am RPG fan, this is a must play game.
