Best Buy deleted my review from a few weeks ago. This was supposed to come with a steel-case. It did not.

Pre-order and didn’t get what was offered false advertising 

When you first glance at the ratings for this, it would look like the game is terrible and not worth even clicking on. MOST OF THESE REVIEWS ARE NOT REVIEWING THE GAME!! THEY ARE REVIEWING BEST BUYS POOR PRE ORDER OR LACK OF PROMISED MATERIAL FROM BEST BUY. IGNORE THESE REVIEWS. These people should be reviewing the GAME, not best buys service. Like, seriously, come on and stop whining about best buy in the game review. The only disservice you are doing is to fellow gamers. Best buy doesnt read your game review. Gamers read your game review. FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE ACTUAL GAME IS LIKE, and if its worth your time, its a phenomenal game. It is 100% worth your time. I am only a few hours into it but i am in awe of the graphics, how engaging the continuation of the story and the tweaks they have done to the core gaming. Love it. Ignore the whiners and enjoy the ride!

Will never pre-order anything from Best buy again.

Excellent game! Bunch of ignorant reviewers. Crying they didn’t get a steelbook because they ordered late after it was sold out. Only get it if added to cart with the game, which is very clear. Nothing new here just a bunch of ignorant people here who ordered late and can’t read. If indeed you ordered when steelbooks were still available and you didn’t get one then leave a negative review for BestBuy not the innocent game.

Awesome game ! But to many added mini games that sort of ruin progression constantly and Awesome extra items to get but some being close to impossible for many to get . So a lot of unfairness for sure if your not skilled and don't have fast reflexes and great memory.

I can not say enough about this game. I'm a completionist and at almost 60 hours and ONLY on chapter 8 or 9. Without spoiling anything, this is probably the best video game I've ever played and I've been playing since '89. Square really outdid themselves with this one. Story is top tier cinema level, best map in an RPG I've seen, best battle system and best English voice acting. If you don't feel like rushing through the game, (and I suggest you don't) there is a full Yu-Gi-Oh level card game, full on racing, a Star Fox clone, Fall Guys like game, Tower defense RTS, etc. It is INSANELY good. I'm not even half way through and if you add Remake and whatever game comes 3rd in the trilogy, you have the Best Game Ever Made!

The game itself is an amazing one. 10/10 I dare say. Absolutely worth the pick-up no questiokd asked. Idk why so many people do this but I see it on amazon all the time and other places to. Stop giving bad ratings for BEST BUY messing up your order. People are here for the game not the for Best Buy issues. Everyone review bombing for the steelbook and not actaully the game itself. Some reviews on here give it a 5 star and then tell them about the bad experience. That is how it should be done so kudos for those reviewers. RATE THE GAME AND NOT THE SITUATION WITH BEST BUY. Complain to Best Buy online with customer service stuff.

Amazing game built from the original epic battles captivating story eye popping graphics what more could you ask for

Why are people giving low rating for this game? This review is about the game itself NOT BestBuy service. If your review is base on BestBuy not giving you a steelbook then go do a Google review NOT HERE! That has nothing to do with the game itself. With that being said this game is gorgous. I have the deluxe ediiton and the package is beautiful. I like the steelbook that came with deluxe. I'm only 2hours in and I can't put my controller down.

Really good story and good graphics and good on ps5

Wow. This game is packed to the max with content. Sometimes it gets overwhelming. But they are all good mini games and explorations. I do notice some lack in graphics in certain areas but still looks great. Loving it and 102 hrs in. Still not done.

I have been a FF7 fan for years. Definitely changed things (obviously) and it was such a roller coaster of emotions. But this is such a beautiful remake, and little details that made this game have such an impact. I loved it so much.

Great game! Excellent voice acting, great game play, and animations. Not to mention the really good graphics and lighting.

Deluxe edition was awesome. For $100 i felt they gave us our moneys worth. For comparison. Last years Final Fanasy XVI Deluxe, also $100, we only got a steelbook and cloth map. This one gave us steelbook. Hardcover artbook. And soundtrack CD. Its true BB only has so many pre order steelbooks and when the pre orders exceed the limit. Ive seen them remove the pre order bonus on the listing. Sometimes they dont remove it in time. They should have a system where they can tell, by date, who ordered after inventory ran out and notify buyer. I had pre ordered this months ago. I didnt have issue receiving my copy.

The game is incredible. Better than VII. And people complaining about the steelbook, don’t post here and ruin it for others. Call BB, and ask them about it. Ugh.

Encapsulates all the nostalgia from the 90's with beautiful visual and upgraded complex gameplay to bring back a compelling story to the 21st century!

To all of those individuals one star reviewing the game, you guys are incorrectly leveraging the product review system. The feedback you want to give Best Buy about the limited supply steelbook situation should be handled through the feedback section of the app or through the email link you received after purchasing. Your emotional response to review bomb this game is childish and actually detrimental to the video game industry as a whole. Wipe your tears from your chubby faces, provide feedback to the appropriate channel, and get over yourselves kiddos.

A great follow up to the first game. Improvement in many aspects.
