I rarely play video games anymore, but I definitely created the time to play the FF7 remake trilogy. The events leading up to the Forgotten City were my favorite parts of the game, and it didn't disappoint. I enjoyed nearly every moment. The locations and scenary were absolutely beautiful, the characters true to their arcs, and music amazing. Playing a game for 50+ hours is a not easy, but it felt like reading a good book, and the nostalgia of this franchise hit perfect. I can't wait for the third game. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal. Visually stunning, incredible soundtrack, and widely varied gameplay. Lots of minigames to keep it from getting stale, although a few of these are anti-fun. The story is just as remembered, however, it has increased depth and some changes to fit the new storyline started by Remake. Note: This review is NOT for ordering from Best Buy. My initial Deluxe Version order was canceled, forcing me to repurchase the game. Despite this, I did not receive a steel book case, which only had limited stock. This limitation was not stated on the storefront.

I got my steel book, so this won’t be about that. The combat is very similar to Remake with some added features that, at least for boss fights, help keep things interesting. They really don’t want you to just play as Cloud, and you shouldn’t. The combat is fun and engaging. The maps are full of activities and lots of fun to explore, big change from Remake. The amount of mini games in this game is staggering. They’re not all perfect, but they’re a lot more fun than doing pull-ups in Remake. Great story, retold in an interesting way.

This game is utterly fantastic, it had me in tears within the first five minutes; Just like all the crybabies who are complaining about a lack of getting a steelbook! There's no need to rate the game lowly because you hav a complaint with how the delivery system messed up! Simply put, they didn't have enough cases to send out all at once for launch. As far as I'm aware people who preordered are still going to be sent out a case later as stock because available. Keep crying salt lords, but do it in the right way!

I’ve loved FF7 since it came out on original PlayStation. The remakes are great. The graphics are top, gameplay is natural and story is changed enough to keep the original players engaged and nostalgic!

Time has passed since the original Final Fantasy VII from first beating the game in 6th grade elementary school. These remakes are so great and new directions to the story timeline is refreshing to play. Pre-ordering with Best Buy was supposed to include a Steelbook which was the draw for me to order here, but day of delivery...no Steelbook. I sent a support message and they said the Steelbook manufacturing was overwhelmed and I would get an email when its restocked but that was a month ago

It takes what FF7 Remake did and turns it up to 11. Tons of content, great story, great visuals. This game is simply amazing.

Remake was awesome and Rebirth is an excellent sequel that definitely adds more greatness to the series. The more open world is really great and the graphics and gameplay are superb! There are a couple areas that probably could have had some more work done to tighten up(cosmo canyon), but I definitely recommend! I can’t wait for the next one!

Even though it deviates from the original ff7 for ps1, the things this game does well really pulls you in . A great experimce with a great ending . The graphics and world are amazing. Some cons about the game are the mini games are maybe a little over done . They are fun at times but can slow the pace of the game .The sidequests are typical go find this or fight these monsters. As I played it seemed like most weren't really worth doing .

I’ve really enjoyed playing this game. I love the original FF7, but it’s been really interesting seeing the variations in the story. The graphics are great, the music is awesome (Final Fantasy games always have great music), and the gameplay was fun. There’s a good variety of side quests and a nice dose of humor sprinkled throughout. I’m looking forward to the next installment.

As a lifelong FF7 fan, I had my reservations for the future of the series after Remake. However, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has not only circumvented my harshest criticism, thr game is actually stellar! Thr open world feels real and lived in, and is very well done. The combat is even tighter than before, and the introduction of new characters and abilities has made it more expansive too! I cant eait to continue on this journey, and finish the game tonight!

An expanded and beautiful retalling of a story many remember from the earlier days of gaming. This is the perfect version of this story we were always meant to get. If you can only get a few games a year than let this be one of them. A deep story, great combat and endless choices.

If you enjoyed FF7 remake you will love this game. The story is awesome and continues where remake left off. The open world is full of things to collect and discover. Checklist in each area can get repetitive, but there’s plenty of things to help mix it up and make each area feel unique. The combat system takes some practice to figure out builds, but can be as deep and complex as you want it to be. Definitely recommend to anyone who loved Remake.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for the PlayStation 5 is a stunning revival of a beloved classic. Remake was great. Rebirth takes off running and takes everything good from Remake and expands/improves upon it in nearly every way. Im only on chapter 5, but so far im loving the additons like terrain traversal, open world areas, card game, and several other spoilery things I wont mention. Combat is also very fast and so satisfying when you've built momentum. I am super happy with how this is all turning out.

This is much better than the 1st game. Both are great but the freedom, at least sense of it not comparable at all to the first game. I did not grow up with final fantasy but the 7th game on the plastation 1 i think. As an old handmedown. But i can feel the passion and love oozing through this game and the previous one. The enemy selection. Combat variation and strategy have imprived grestly. The team has shown they are doing nothing but improving each one every time. Which they showed very well with the combat of integrade. A DLC (downloadable content) (game expansion pack) so if you were a fan of final fantasy 7 remake/remake inegrade (included the yuffie expansion stroy dlc) then you will absolutely love this one. And i cant wait what the team deos with the final disc 3/final act of tbe final fantasy 7 remake saga.

My personal 2024 GOTY, I love astro bots too but I spent 200 hrs in FF7RB and I just love it.

Don’t listen to the complaints, they i’m mad because they can’t resell a steelbook. The game is incredible so far and the deluxe edition this time around is really nice.

Amazing story, great gamplay, the music is a master piece.
