If you play FFXIV then this is pretty much a requirement, the new class, jobs and items make it worth it.

Then you can access the fun, expansion content. New race, areas, dungeons, increased level cap, and the ability to fly in certain areas makes for a fun time.

Great game, great revamp/fix of the original, and the new dlc content is great. Amazing mmorpg for any fan of the genre or final fantasy alike.

If you enjoy Final Fantasy 14, then Heavensward is a no brainer. A good expansion that helps expand and grow the already robust world of the game.

Love this add on. Automatically raises your level to reach 60 plus 3 new jobs. Tons of more stuff to do! Highly recommend!

It took a while for square enix yo come out with an update for ffxiv, it was well worth it. The new classes are fun to play.

I already loved the ffxiv series and this expansion just brought a whole new world and level of excitement to it.

Heavensward takes the strengths of A Realm Reborn, and just builds upon them. The writing, already gripping and addictive, is taken to new heights. The expansions zones are bigger and better than ever, and players can take advantage of their verticality with the introduction of flying mounts. Along with the reptilian Au Ra race, three interesting jobs - Dark Knight, Machinist, Astrologian, and free company crafting, Final Fantasy XIV has proven once again why it’s one of the best MMOs out there, and there’s very little reason why you should not be playing it, today.

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is the first expansion pack of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, announced at the 2014 Fan Fest in Las Vegas. It was release on June 23, 2015. Macversion also is available the same day as Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 versions, making it the first Final Fantasy title on Apple's personal computer.

Love the third person effect in the game and the amount of different combinations that you can create in the game. The fact that you have a larger variety of servers to play on. Not in love with the button controls and the fact that you can not change them though. Haven't got very far in the game but that's because of the button controls are hard to master, especially when playing other games in between.

Sale price was nice and ship time was better than average. I was however pleasantly surprised to see that it not only came with the expansion disk but a download code for the expansion as well. I bought it assuming I'd use the disk (which isn't an issue) but the fact that it came with both is quite nice.

Even if you haven't finished the main story quest, I would recommend this update for you. I have several crafting classes at the level 50 mark, and this allows me to gain experience above that, and begin working on their lvl50+ content. Additionally, I just started playing through the end-questline for Reborn (after buying the expansion) and am gaining quest experience from that.

This is a fun MMO with balanced classes and a lot of great content.

Great addition to the series, looks great, game play fun as always.
