If you love strategy rpgs you gonna love this one. Especially if you old school gamer. Game is mix of 8 but graphics and 3D. Story is about 40 hours to beat, plus post game.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a fantastic addition to any RPG lovers collection. Great voice acting brings the world to life and the strategy is just as deep as ever!

With the last two major Fire Emblems being on the 3DS Ninetendo has truly polished the hand held version of its tactical strategy series. Wonderful battle choreography. Unique game play stylings not found in other Fire Emblem games. The best part, no crazy weapon triangle. Story is pretty good.

Fans of the Fire Emblem Series shouldn't hesitate on picking this title up! The addition of full voice acting is a major plus, and the gameplay is as addictive as ever.

Echoes was a step in the right direction by offering one, single path as far as story telling goes. You won't have to be purchasing two separate expansions to get the full experience, something Fates dabbled in. Echoes has a branching storyline between our hero and heroine. I thoroughly enjoyed the weaving storylines and how they intertwined. The characters themselves were compelling enough to be invested in their interactions. Although I do miss the romance aspect from Awakening. Just adds a little more flavor. The gameplay is pretty standard for a FE title. It's addicting enough to make the grinding not such a slog, though by late game when you're trying to level up the highest classes, it then can become tedious, and by that point your typically maximizing only about 10 players. All said, I feel Echoes is better than Fates in telling one story, but lacking some of the features of Awakening that pushed FE into the mainstream.

I couldn't stop playing this game. The graphics are clean, and the voice acting is the best yet for a Fire Emblem game. Love that it is almost fully voiced!! A+++

I've been waiting for this game for quite sometime and it never failed my expectation.

I think my summary says it all. If you are a fan of Fire Emblem, it continues the lore but gone is the Weapon Triangle of Swords-Lances-Axes. It's still a very fun game but it's definitely different than what I'm use to but after some time with it, it was no big deal.

Valentina is fully voice acted just like 3 Houses, and even implemented the weapon arts too. Good story, characters, and world.

Finally bringing Fire Emblem Gaiden's unique story to the west after almost 30 years. Fun tactical turn based combat.

This is an another amazing RPG, albeit a remake, from a great series. The graphics are awesome and the story is amazing. A definite must for 3DS RPG fans.

The best part about this game is the story elements. I like that it is a remake of a Japanese Nintendo game from the 80s but it has been redone.

Good game and slightly challenging and difficult. If you are looking for a strategy game, this is the game you want to play.

There are a lot of changes to this game from the traditional fire emblem formula. No weapon triangle and weapons dont break. Still a lot of tactical fun that is familiar with the fire emblem series. My only complaint is the many battles can get tedious.

All the gameplay you'd want from a strategy game, plus a fully voiced story of friendship and intrigue. A must play for strategy fans!

A great remake of the original Gaiden with a lot of lovable characters and a captivating story with very precise strategic gameplay.

As someone who has followed the Fire Emblem franchise since its debut in the U.S. this was one of the games I never did any research on since it was never released here. That is, until now. This game is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden and provides elements U.S. players have never seen before. There's dungeon crawling elements and you can do some minor exploration. Everything present is par for the course here, and if you are a Fire Emblem fan or a strategy game fan I would highly recommend you pick this game up.

I am a big fan of the other 3ds entries of fire emblem. After playing this game I realized there were some changes. Odd at first, but grew on me. Recommended if you enjoy strategy games or other fire emblem games
