This is a classic show that got canceled way too soon. The characters all seem real and well developed, and the plots are entertaining. The mix of comedy, sci-fi, and drama is brilliant. If you have not seen this show, don't hesitate to buy it because you won't be disappointed.

One of the BEST TV series I've ever watched. Blew me away with how involved I became in the series and the characters. The only downside is that it was cancelled after a year. Serenity, the movie, however, is a must watch after seeing the TV show!

This is one of the greatest series. It has great characters and plot line. And is really funny. I love Jayne. Give it a try and I promise you will love it. Also you will need to watch the movie Serenity.

The cast of characters is fascinating and draw you into their story, you just can't wait to see what will be revealed about them in the future. A 'space Western'. Lots of humor and warmth in a great setting. Long live the Serenity! Joss Whedon is the master.

This has to be one of the best sci-fi shows ever made... and Fox canned it :( It has a rewatchability that is second to none. I discovered this show after it was on DVD, and I've loved it ever since -- John Wayne in space couldn't be any better than this :D

This show should have never been canceled. I don't understand how shows like "24" and "American Idol" survive, and this show didn't. This show is one of the greatest shows ever created and will go down in annals of Sci-fi History as one of the best.

This is bar none the greatest science fiction out there, get this series, watch it in the order intended and you won't be disappointed. You might windup calling yourself a brown-coat and spreading the word that you "can't stop the signal"!!!

Firefly is a good sci-fi-ish series that was unfortunately canceled. Good show to get a lady friend to watch because all you have to do is mention that it is the same creator as Buffy and a light way to introduce them to the science fiction genre. The characters in the show are complex and conflicted (although too much so at times) and the actors that were chosen do a very good job of developing them. The Chinese pronunciation though is pretty horrible.

It was great and worth the 13 dollers altho i would have paid 30 this tv show is one of the best on tv and should have gone a lot longer to bad it did not : (. Buy this and enjoy it for the first time or for a second time.

This is one of my all time favorite movie sets. It is SUCH a shame that they canceled this and never carried it over. I would love to see someone pick this back up and run it for 7 seasons (like NGen or Voyager).

You can't top Firefly. Especially for the $10-ish i got it for. It comes in flimsy plastic cases which are little more than a sleeve, but stop thinking and enjoy it for the content and the price.

Great acting, great plots, good story. I wish I would have known about this earlier. Don't forget to watch the movie Serenity after watching the series. It will make a lot more sense if you do.

I love the Firefly TV series & the Serenity Movie. The DVD Extras on BOTH are amazing & I'm not one to watch DVD extras either. These really got me hooked on Joss Whedon. You should too!

Firefly! Best 1 Season tv show ever made in my honest Opinion. Best buy had it for $9.99 on their Black friday special, and I didn't hesitate to pick it up. Thank you Best buy.

This is a wonderful show that was taken off the air far too early. This DVD set is great because it includes the episodes that were never aired when the show was cut.

I picked this up after watching Serenity (also a great buy) I was hooked from the first episode, I have watched it over and over again. Buy it, you will like it.

I love this series. Missed it when it was on the air. Thrilled to watch it straight through. Glad to have it and will watch it again and again.

One of the most underrated, entertaining sci-fi shows ever! Amazingly complex characters, wonderfully written. This collection NEEDS to be in your collection!
