She had a dvd copy that she worn out watching it. So I bought this bluray for her. Other wise she would stream it on Netflix.

It was a tragedy that this outstanding sci-fi TV series was cut so short. It is a must see for any true science fiction fan.

I already had the complete series on blu-ray, but I couldn't resist the packaging on this edition. The faux leather is perfect for the feel of the show and looks great on my blu-ray shelf, and the extras (character cards, map) are good quality and nice to have. My only real complaint is the lack of any new video content. Even the menus are the same as what was on my old edition. I would have liked to see an update and maybe the inclusion of some new behind-the-scenes stuff. Even throwing in Serenity or the documentary, Done the Impossible would have been a nice touch, even if it increased the price. Either way, though, it's one of the best shows to ever get prematurely canceled, and if you don't already have it on blu-ray, even if you've never seen it, I can't recommend this set enough. The show itself is easily 5 stars, and the only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that lack of any new content. Even a new menu would have been nice. So if you already own this on blu-ray, it's up to you whether the new packaging is worth it. It was for me, but your mileage may vary. Keep flying and stay shiny.

Enjoyable Sci Fi T.V. series that should have had more than one season. Nathan Fallon (The Rookie) heads a fine cast.

This is a review of the packaging, not the content, which as a browncoat I of course must give a Shiney 5 stars. The problem with the packaging is the poorly constructed sleeves, with adhesive that sticks to the disks. Not what you want to want when you are actually wanting to remove and play the disks. Other variations on packaging of the same content with standard plastic spindles are bland but much more functional. The map of the 'Verse and the character cards are a bonus that gives minutes of enjoyment. We're I to do it again, I'd get the standard packaging, even at the same price.
