I watched this series when it first was broadcast on television, and since I enjoyed it I bought this set. After watching it, I did not realize the episodes were broadcast out of order! It's a western set in outer space, but no aliens. Extremely well cast, and I highly recommend it.

Firefly is one of the all-time great science fiction TV series, and this Blu-Ray edition does it proud. The packaging is unusual and fun, feeling very much like it belongs in the Firefly universe. Everything is top-notch quality and I can't recommend this enough to any fan of Firefly or lover of good sci-fi in general.

I would not even consider myself a sci-fi fan, and hadn't even heard of this series until it was prematurely cancelled, but I am very glad I gave it a chance.. Its 13 episodes of the most clever TV ever produced. It gets better as it goes, too! And the film, Serenity, is beautiful icing on the cake. Watch it!

If you like westerns and you like sci-fi, you'll enjoy Firefly. What makes this series fun is that while it's sci-fi at its core, there are no aliens, no planet destroying weapons, no planetary sized wars, it's a nice deviation from the standard sci-fi trope.

Even though this sci-fi series ended too soon it is still entertaining. The characters and environment are probably more realistic to a truer future then the “perfectness” of Star Trek. This series also had a movie named Serenity which was shot after the series’ run so give them all a try...

Didn't see this when it originally aired. Watched it on Netflix and was discouraged with powers that be in television. This series had so much potential and when you watch on DVD you see it developing. But if not for the morons who didn't air it order and scheduled it in the death slot to begin with...

This is a nice cheap set for those who don't own the original blu ray set. It has a few extras and the price is really nice. If you own the original there is nothing in this set that would warrant double dipping on it unless you are a huge fan. The series is a must watch for any sci-fi fan.

I prefer to buy items in store rather than online since I like to shop. I had been looking everywhere for the Firefly series for months since this is one of my husbands favorite series and he had lost his. I was very surprised to find it at Bestbuy and really pleased I did! They have other hard to find movies/series there too so before I order them online, I will always check there first!

Had already purchased the series on standard DVD. Blu-ray version is higher video quality and much more convenient is size than DVD version. Recommend the purchase of the movie 'Serenity' which wraps up the series to complete your purchase.

First 3 episodes really establish the setting which you won't find interesting until you see how the casts interacts in it. When I first saw this on TV i wondered how long it would last, when I binged it several years later I was retroactively outraged it had been cancelled.

I loved the series as a perfect blend of sci-fi and western. Well written, great action and the understated comedy all contribute to a series that should have had more than one season. That goodness for the wrap-up of Serenity.

Firefly should have been on for many more seasons! This DVD has all of the episodes as well as some that were never aired. It also includes cast cards for each member of the cast. They also included a map of "The 'verse. A DVD pack every fan of Firefly should own!

I was so excited when my husband bought this for me. Not only am I a huge fan of Firefly but I love all of the characters individually. So with the cards that came with the dvd it was fun to read about each of them. I would totally recommend to any Firefly fan!

Purchased as a gift for my daughter at her request. She said it was an excellent choice. Best price around and received in two days. Very pleased with the entire transaction.

Great show, wish there was more, love the characters, plots are typical sci fi but well done, and huge entertainment value with a few surprises thrown in - definitely a classic for the sci fi buff

This is a great show and am enjoying the extra episodes. Anything more that we can pull out of this series that ended way too soon is great. I love the case too. I had the original blu ray and had no problem buying it for the Collectors Edition.

nicely done 15th anniversary packaging for this excellent but short lived Sci-Fi and Western fusion television show. There are some nice :"trading cards" inside. Bluray quality seems really good to me. Price at BB was comparable to online vendors

Bought Firefly ( am a fan ) and was excited by the 15th anniversary packaging . The extras were great - I really liked the 3 unaired episodes, character cards, Map, and the roundtable . Great for all 'Brown Coats ' and fans

Just purchased Firefly haven't watch yet , but service has always been great anytime a DVD didn't work right you have always stood behind.
