    Fit right on old mounting holes. Easy to test. Took less than 5 minutes from start to finish including getting the ladder.

    Good looking unit. Removed my old smoke alarm. Opened the package. The new base ring unit fit right on to the existing screws, twisted on the top, tested it and it was good to go!
