My understanding is the Armstrong family was involved with the history of this movie in fact many personal items were auctioned off this past year. You get the politics, pain and pressures of the space program in the 1960's. I enjoyed it very much.

There are many space travel movies. This one differentiates itself from the others by being mostly drama. It is done well but at times I felt as if I wanted to say just get on with the story.

This is really a good movie if you are into science. I wish the movie would've shown them more walking on the moon, but the event that led them to do the impossible is remarkable.

Historically accurate look at what it took to put a man in space. Strong performance from Ryan Gosling. Claire Foye shows what the pressures on spouses and family were really like.

This movie was amazing! It had a touch of laughter, sadness, and serious tense SituationS. It is the best space movie I've seen since The Right Stuff! They truly went all out for this movie and it is a must by. I believe everyone will enjoy it!

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. It runs a bit slow, but is well worth watching. The early days of our space program were filled with untold risk and these men faced that risk head on.

I like movies based on real life events and this one was good. The premise of the movie was great but it was slow moving and lacked excitement, but overall it was still a good movie.

Excellent history lesson of the men who risked their lives for our country in the race to the moon. Everyone has heard of the landings, but little has been told about the men who made the moon landings happen. This is a story of that history

I liked the movie we all know the glamorous story but if your looking for high drama this may not do it for you it’s a steady paced character portrayal of The Armstrong family done well

I like the movie because it showed the humanity of the astronauts. It showed the risks that they took to do the things that they did. It also showed a little bit of the test platform for landing on the moon that my dad helped work on.

First Man is a very good story about the life of Neal Armstrong. It gives you a behind the scenes perspective of what he went through in his professional and personal life. It looks great and sounds even better on 4K. Highly recommended !

Ah, the good old days when we were accomplishing the "impossible". Although I cannot vouch for all of the historical details presented, we enjoyed this film and would recommend it.

Wasn't sure how this movie would be and was happy I bought it. Ryan Gosling was very good as Armstrong. I was a teenager when we landed on the moon and he took his first step. It was fun reliving this again, seeing how it came about.

The movie does a decent job of depicting the life on Neil Armstrong leading up to the moon landing. There were a lot of events that I'd forgotten, and they were good to remember.

I bought this movie knowing nothing about it. It was very entertaining and had great picture quality. I wish the movie was a little longer to go into further detail with every problem they encountered throughout their mission.

I like this movie. It gives a good look to the event leading up to the first moon landing. it great for a historical view on what really happened back in those days. Not Bad :)

Always been interested in space and space exploration, so this was a fund and engaging film. Well acted and directed. A nice way to spend some time looking into our past.

Damien Chazelle does it again. Although not as good as Whiplash or La La Land. Still very good and such a gorgeously made film. Ryan Gosling nails it out of the park once again.

The movie "First Man," is the story of Neil Armstrong, who was the first man on the moon. It tells the story of the life of Armstrong to the time of lift off. The movie is for my grandson for his birthday. Great movie!
