This movie exceeded my expectations for sure. I kind of knew it was going to be good but not as good as it really was. You have to experience it in a really good surround system setup. You might even get nauseous watching it.

This was an exciting historical drama with some intense moments. The acting was good, and some surprising views of the emotional side of the mission you don't see very often

The films score is amazing! The film is a slow burner and it’s not everyone! Personally I enjoyed it a lot. Claire Foy gave a great performance. She was definitely snubbed.

Ok the movie proves nothing about the moon landing but it is a good movie. Good effects and some “real” footage woven it. My son enjoyed it and my wife slept through it.

Honestly I am a little disappointed. I bought the movie because I heard it was a good movie and went out on a limb and purchased it without renting first. The movie is flat and moves along at a slow pace. I have only seen half of the movie and haven't watched the rest in over a 2 weeks. The movie just doesn't grasp my attention like I thought it would. I plan on watching the rest and hoping it gets better, but if I am half way through with little interest I doubt it will get any more thrilling.

I bought this to check the new UHD disc drive I bought in addition to wanting to have this great movie. Frankly, it's hard to tell the difference between this 4K resolution and standard Bluray, but it is slightly better.

"First Man" gives a story just not about the first moon landing, but also the accounts of the family life, especially of Neil Armstrong. The print transfer is excellent, and the Dolby Atmos sound is even better.

This movie shows a great first person view of Neil Armstrong. It shows the real struggles he went through during launch’s and it is not glamorous. The sound editing is amazing and the moon scenes are out of this world.

Don't know how much artistic licence was used here. Seems like some of the flight scenes were more violent than real? I could be wrong, but pretty hard to believe.

First Man was First-rate entertainment. A fantastic piece of acting by Ryan Gosling, with a top-notch support cast. Tends to be a bit long at some points but was necessary to tell the story of this American Hero!

IMHO, this was the best movie of the year, and should've at least been nominated for the Best PIcture Oscar. Beautifully acted by all involved, this is a movie I can appreciate more than once, hence my purchase.

A great look at all the trials and tribulations that led to the Apollo 11 moon landing, especially as it had to do with Neil Armstrong and his family and friends.

Good movie, learned some new things about the Apollo program and about Neil himself. Very committed person with intense focus and calmness. Many beautiful scenes!

Kids still don’t believe this ever happened. Hopefully this movie will inspire kids to lay down their phones and get out and play with each other in a real world

Great movie, spectacular in 4k. Fun to learn more about Neil Armstrong and all the dangers the astronauts endured. Good movie for the family to watch together.

Learned things about Neil Armstrong from this film that I never knew before. Ryan Gosling did a great job portraying Armstrong and, if so much hadn't been made of it, I never would have noticed the missing flag

this is a great film to watch , the history behind it , the cinematography .this film took me back to when i was a child in 1969 hearing on the radio about the first man on the moon. Very highly recommended.

This movie delves into the man Neil Armstrong is as well as the astronaut. It shows the flaws we have even someone who has been rightfully elevated to hero.

The story of Neal Armstrong from his entry into the astronaut corps to the landing on the moon. It's exciting to watch with some very intense scenes to quiet heart-felt moments. It is a momentous film to watch!

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were very happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.
