So cute but broken/didnt work

Awesome, nothing more annoying than looking for batteries once your kid gets a new toy lol. UNFORTUNATELY, I received this toy with the batteries all corroded :( there was not only the white stuff from the corroded batteries but also what appeared to be rust in the battery compartment as well. I tried cleaning it out with dry q-tips and compressed air. I also put new batteries and it wouldn't work. Upon a closer look, it seems that it corroded so bad that the springs that held one of the batteries was compromised and partially broke.
