Nice to check on their quality of sleep
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I have my twin girls using these so I can check their activity and their quality of sleep. I was given one for my birthday myself and I like being able to see my heart rate. Unfortunately that is the only reason why I didn’t give this 5 stars because it doesn’t allow you to see their heart rate. Everything else is pretty basic but I like to set set timers on their watches if they have timeout, waiting for something, or other things. My girls are almost 4 and even though it’s for older ages I figured they’d grow into them and they are able to still wear them since they adjust to smaller wrists.

Not durable
Posted .Features
Quality1 out of 5Value1 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5After only one month a wear, the rubber band had broken and the Fitbit popped out and is missing. I contacted customer service who stated that because it was still syncing to my phone that I should download a Bluetooth app and go around the house and yard looking for it. Needless to say that did not work! Not worth the money for one month is use.

Great for kids, but band is iffy.

Quality2 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:For childrenI think it's great for kids if you're trying to get them more active. My kids really enjoy their new Fitbit Ace watch. Unfortunately, only a month in (Xmas gift) and the band has already ripped/broken off. :( Not sure what BBY warranty policy is but will try to get it exchanged. Wish me luck since it's past its return date.

Good product
|Posted .This Fitbit seems to be of good quality. I have read many mixed reviews online. It did need to do a firmware update immediately before it could be used, which might account for some other reviewers saying theirs seemed to be defective upon first attempt to use. It's a cute watch, and my 8-year-old is happy with it. I am happy that it motivates her to be less of a couch potato. I've connected her to my Fitbit app on my phone so that I can see her stats. It would be nice if it could link to more than one device, but since it can't, we are just viewing data through my phone app.

My daughter loves it
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this for my daughter who was 7 years old. I think that this is a great product to help your child understand their activity level. Plus it's interactive and geared towards children. She loves it and is very proud when she sees the animations growing. Iwould definitely recommend it to any other parent who wants to help their child learn about their activity habits. I just wish it was waterproof I'm not sure of the actual IP rating though. I'm sure it is somewhat waterproof.

Could use smaller wristbands
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this for my son so he could get into tracking his fitness—and to wear a watch. I like how that there are no obvious buttons for him to fool with. My only complaint is that they need different sized bands for smaller wrists. I have the notch on the next to the last one, and it still wriggles quite a bit. They have different size bands for adults, why not kids? My kid’s a string bean, so he takes a long time to fill out things. Other than that, the watch works great!

Mini Fitbit
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Purchased for my 8yo. Love the colors. I have owned several Fitbits over the years. I also purchased 2 Senses. The Ace was the hardest. During setup, the setup froze. Not sure if it was my daughter's impatience or what. There is no hard reboot (the original fitbit had a hole...) so I had to let the battery die. Recommendation... 1) if for a child... charge it FIRST, fully before attempting setup 2) then run the setup. Had I known this, I would have opened thed box and done this prior to gifting it to her at Christmas. It was 2 days before she could wear it. This is why I couldn't give 5 stars. My daughter loves it. She loves that she has a fitbit just like her mom and dad.

Great for kids
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5My son was a little iffy about me getting him a fitbit but after trying it out after just one day, he loves it! He likes the goal notifications he receives when he reaches 10,000 steps for the day and he enjoys checking out his sleeping habits. The wrist band was a little on the small side (he’s a bigger 11yo) but we ended up buying him a large replacement band that fits him perfectly

Excellent way to motivate kids!
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5My child always wanted to borrow my smart watch to track his activity, so I decided to get him his own fitness tracker with built in watch. It was a hit! Not only is it encouraging him to be more physically active, but the watch function is helping him to tell time better. The alarm even helps him get out of bed faster in the morning! So far the construction seems to be able to keep up with the bumps and bangs that come with an active kid.

Great product
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This was a great buy for my daughter. She is very competitive and wanted one because me and my wife have a Fitbit and we do the challenges and all. She wanted to join and so we got her this more earlier than we had said we wod for her birthday. It's great, but the band broke broke off in less than a month. The bands are available everywhere so I just ordered new compatible new bands for less than $10 and waiting for it arrive currently. I would have hoped the product was a bit cheaper though because I'm sure I will be going through a couple since it is for kids, whether damaged or lost.

Nice kid fitbit!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Bought this watch for my daughter who was obsessed with the data I get from the Steps App. She is killing it, averaging over 11k steps per day. She's also waking up wanting to check her sleep data. My daughter has a rare genetic disorder that affects her growth. I appreciate the many options for fit. It fits her well because there are almost 15 holes, but she'll also be able to grow with the watch as well. Programming was also relatively easy.

Keep Active!
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Love this for my grandson to get him motivated to compete against me and his friends during periods of lockdown and decreased activity. We are at a critical time right now where kids and adults are staying inside for pandemic reasons, and this has inhibited activity levels. I love that this encourages healthy children.

Good starter I guess.
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Bought it for my 8 year old. She likes it. It's pretty basic and simple for a child. I think the step counter is off though. It could be just the one we have, but every morning it shows anywhere from 20 to 70 steps and she hasn't even gotten out of bed yet. The only other thing is that the app is essential which is inconvenient since she doesn't own a phone and her Kindle doesn't seem to be compatible with the app. So I know we don't get full use of it. Other than that, she likes having the watch and tracking her steps every day. She's happy. I'm happy.

For my kiddo
|Posted .Features
Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5My daughter says that it is AWESOME!!! I originally bought it for her, so she wouldn't be left out, since our family won a couple during a project. I never realized how helpful it would be for me to see her sleeping patterns and to realize she wasn't sleeping as I thought she was. This insight has been eye opening and now I can maybe get the answers I have been wondering about. I can now take this information to her physician and we can get tools and goals for her to help improve this situation. She loves the different clock faces and really likes watching the flower grow in the pot as she earns her steps.

Grandsons Love them
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought 2 of these for my two grandsons (5 & 11) because I have the Charge 3 and they wanted one too play bingo with me. Anyway, they fit nice, very comfortable - though I would have preferred the chargers to be longer and not magnetic more like the charge 3 chargers would have been nice. The bands should have a little notch that sticks in the hole of the strap to hold that little slider piece in place and hold flap of the band down - and the rubber sucks - should be more like the charge 3's band, however boys don't seem to mind the band and it's much more flexible for their activities and wear.
