The Alta is my first fitness tracker. I lthink the design/look of it and the color options are great. Easy to put on and take off. It definitely keeps me motivated to move with its vibration reminder to take more steps! I also like the new dashboard summary - being able to see all of your stats at once.

I've had my Fitbit Alta for nearly a year now. I love it! Perfect size for me, I love the narrow band and the type of closure it uses. I only take it off if it needs charging or I'm going to be in water. The band had to be replaced, but that was more user error (snagged it bad on clothing).

I have had several different fitbits, but I like this one best. I like the small size. It does not check your heartrate or keep count of the inclines. Which is no big deal for me. I do miss the incline count, but the smaller is worth it.

I love my Fitbit! It keeps me busy and constantly keeps me motivated. Love having challenges with friends.

I love the newest Fitbit Alta. I like how I can see my text messages and phone calls come in without having to look at my phone. I like the reminders to get moving and also the alarms you can set. It's slimmer than the Charge which is nice. I'm looking forward to being able to switch out the bands.

The Fitbit Alta is an excellent choice if heart rate monitoring is not a requirement. It is not obtrusive when worn; especially when a nicer band is added. There are many band choices on the WEB that are less expensive than Fitbit's. Thie Alta was a replacement for my wife's old Fitbit which finally died. The worst problem I had was replacing the old Fitbit with the Alta in the software app. The Alta "locked up", and I had to call Fitbit. Finally the help agent mentioned the small button on the side of the Alta charger that reset the device. Then the update and replace finally worked. What should have been a simple task turned into a 4 hour ordeal. This could be avoided if Fitbit provided actual setup information in the box rather than scattered around their web site. The help number was answered promptly but I needed to ask for a second help person after the 1st one could not understand my issue. The Alta has performed flawlessly since it was installed.

From small wristed person: fig of Alta is much better than Gear Fit. Gear Fit, however, is much better for telephone and text announcements. On step counts; Alta may be more accurate, but rounds numbers off. Don't miss heart monitor.

I like how this Fitbit is small and petite. This version does not have the heart rate option but I only wanted it to count my steps. I sit at a desk all day so it allows me to see how many steps I take. When I see how low it is throughout the day I get up and put some steps in.

Overall, it does a fairly good job. Fashionably appealing. Tracks your steps and notices "sometimes" when you are exercising i.e biking, running,walking etc. Love the app that comes with the Fitbit. Has nice reminders to keep you on track with your goals. Overall, it is a fairly good product.

This was a gift for someone, but I can tell you that I like it as much as my older Fitbit and the gift receiver loves it. It is really light, so you forget you are wearing it and with a tap you can see any or all information, depending on what you programed to be shown. Very accurate.

I bought this for my wife. It is finally a small enough size that she could wear. The first one we got didn't work but returned it without any hassle and got a perfectly good new one. Overall I am very happy with how the fit bit works and it is really neat to see it track all your activities.

I love that I can view text messages and get call notifications on this Fitbit. It does not have the feature of tracking how many stairs you have climbed like some of the other fitbits but I think it is worth it. The design is very small and sleek unlike the charge which is very bulky.

My wife loves her Fitbit. Works really well and easy to use. Fitbits are great gift ideas!

I love my new Fitbit! It's pretty accurate, very versatile as style goes, and motivates me to be healthier. I did purchase some screen protectors from Amazon, and am glad I did, since the protector has already gotten a scratch or two on it. That said, I would gladly get this again!

I like the slim fit and sleek design of the Fitbit alta. Long lasting battery life. Just wished it had more features. Gave 4 stars because notifications are delayed and cannot go back and read text message after initial notification is displayed. A feature I loved on my microsoft band.

I got this as a gift for my mom and she loves it! Says it is easy to navigate around, keeps everything accurate! Also a great flexible fit! I would prefer this one over the older designs or something else because of the accuracy and updates! Connecting to your phone has never been so easy!

Love this thing. It's super lightweight, barely noticeable on a small wrist. Slick and stylish. My only complaint is that sometimes the display doesn't always want to come on when I turn my wrist. Sometimes takes a few flicks of the wrist then I finally give up and double tap the screen.

As much as my girlfriend loved the Apple Watch, she couldn't get past the battery life and decided to go back to FitBit. - Good Battery Life - Simple notifications for text and phone calls - easy to navigate the screen - Attaching charger is quick compared to her prior Fitbit

So easy to use. Being able to read your text messages is a plus. Battery life is good .
