Good Fitbit for beginner. Used mostly for steps. This model does not track heart rate.

I purchased this Fitbit for my mom for her birthday. It was easy to install and activate. She uses it every day and loves it! She has not experienced any problems with it. It does exactly what it says and it fits good and is comfortable. I am happy with my purchase.

I love this and wish I had purchased it sooner. I love that it reminds me to get up from my desk and start moving and the best part is that is syncs with my Weight Watchers App. I also enjoy waking up in the morning to see how I slept the previous night!!! Great Investment.

If you are a fan of the Fitbit brand and you would like to have a fitness band that does the work, this one is for you. I purchased this after owning a Fitbit HR and a Garmin vivosmart and so far I liked this one best out of three. Easy to use, stylish and work the money.

I really like this Fitbit because it's small. The charge Fitbit in my experience was too big and bulky and the flex didn't display the results on the actual screen you had to go into the app. The Alta was perfect because it was both in one. Small and it displayed your progress!

It really helps you to keep moving! I've lost weight just by walking. It's awesome!

Love my Alta and does a great job tracking sleep patterns, calories burned, steps taken, active minutes, etc. The battery usually lasts about a week so it's holds its charge pretty well. Would definitely recommend unless you're looking for a sophisticated activity tracker.

I was looking for a gift for my wife and I found this Fitbit Alta. After looking it up and doing some research I've decided to go with this Fitbit. It's light weight, good with battery and very fashionable. I recommend this to anybody. FYI this doesn't monitor your heart rate.

I like the fitness band in that ut tracks my sleep, steps etc. You are reminded to walk 250 steps an hour if you set it. I can check the time. I get notified when a text or call comes in Only feature i wish it had was the ability to add other workouts other than Cardio.

This fit tracker is terrific. Light weight, good metrics, keeps charged for 5 days, the app is really wonderful measuring activity, food and water intact and distance. My only comment is on the difficulty engaging the band snaps when placing it on my wrist! Overall great!

This Fitbit is a great little item. Not only does it look sleek and go with any type of outfit...the accessories and things it does is a payoff too!! I just wish Fitbit would make something more waterproof so swimming and water activites could be added to my exercise steps.

perfect size fit for my fiance and much worth the money. We both now are competing weekly to see who can get more steps so why not involve fitness into your relationship and make you both healthy. Also love that it provides messages and texts across the screen as well.

This is definitely a stylish upgrade from the Charge! My previous 4 fitbits gave me nothing but (intermittent) problems. From day one this has been on point...and I receive numerous compliments on its streamlines appearance. I do however miss the ability to record floors.

The Alta is smaller than other Fitbits and therefore more comfortable to wear. I could never wear my ChargeHR at night but I can wear my Alta. I like that it has a dressier look to it and I can wear it anytime. It also charges quickly. I just wish it would record floors!

The smaller width of the band looks and feels much better than the Charge (or the Force before that) and feels more solid. I love that the strap comes off with an easy click. Since the bands on Fitbits seem to break easily, this will make replacement much easier. The Alta "small" is quite a bit larger than the Charge's "small." In fact, I almost bought the large because the Charge barely fit my wrist, but I can wear the Alta quite loosely on my wrist. The best new feature is that the wrist vibrates if I haven't moved at least 250 steps every hour and that certainly helps get my sedentary butt away from the computer every hour. My only complaint is that I have had to give up the floor-counting. I miss that.

This Fit Bit is very good at tracking activity, as well as the quality of the sleep the wearer experiences. However, the band is difficult to fasten, so I purchased a band with a different closing mechanism on-line. It is much easier to get on and off.

Does a good job of tracking of steps and distances etc. Is lightweight and durable and does not distract you in any way. Only minor problem is the wristband is difficult to snap into place when new on your wrist until worn in a bit.

Easy to wear and really keeps you motivated. I like that it will remind you to move if you have been sitting still too long. I also like the call/text notification. I can glance at my arm and see who is calling or texting me at work even though my phone is silenced.

I bought this primarily because it was smaller than most of the fitness watches. I liked that it has interchangeable bands. It gives gentle reminders to get up and move around. It does seem to be fairly accurate in counting the steps and types of movements made.
