I chose this model because of the text/call alert capability. That comes in handy for me because I don't carry my phone and don't hear it inside my purse. It has also motivated me to reach my activity goals.

I absolutely love my Fitbit! I've had it for about two months now and I'm still in love with it! It's small enough to not be a hassle, the screen is a great size to see your progress throughout the day!

Not only can I track my fitness but I can get reminders when I need to get up and move around too. In addition my text messages scroll across the screen so I don't have to take my phone out during class.

Fitbit needs to stop making this type of band. You will lose the watch without a doubt. Buy an alternate band and you will be happy with the purchase.

I really like this Fitbit. I love that I can read text messages and see phone calls. The band ended up breaking after 4 months, but Fitbit has a one year warranty so they sent me a new one no problem.

I love the Fitbit Alta compared to the rest of their lineup. Altogether the product looks very clean and minimalistic. They were definitely going for a fashion oriented product and boy did they deliver!

Love everything about this fitbit, especially having a desk job, reminds me to move when sitting too long, and my text messages and calls show up on it.

It is a great way to challenge me to keep moving through-out my day. It has even increased my steps. The only think I don't like about it is the limitations on the food but that is easily compensated for.

The Fitbit Alta is easy to program and set up for your goals. You can have it remind you when you don't hit the number of steps necessary to reach your goals. I use it as my watch as well now.

I think this is a great tracker especially for a beginner. I am especially happy that this tracker has features like time, steps, and etc. I kinda only wish it has the date on it too or heart beat count.

My daughter really wanted a fitbit alta. We compared prices at all the stores and found that it was proceed the same everywhere. My daughter loves keeping track of her steps and uploading her results.

I got this as a present for christmas for my mother and she loves it. The setup was very simple and a great device to track exercise and walking pace. She wears it every day and loves the sleekness.

Since buying one I have gotten 5 others to join me in workout challenges and accountability. The Fitbit makes it fun and exciting! I love the size of the Alta a size I have a very small wrist

Fitbit in my personal opinion is the best fitness tracker out there. The Alta is very slim and looks great with any outfit! The different bands you can purchase makes it very versatile.

Seems to be pretty accurate and is a definite upgrade from the previous generation of Fitbits. Biggest downside is the charge runs out after around 4-5 days, not a week like the previous generation.

My wife loves her new fitbit. Good value - she likes that it reminds her to move each hour between 9 & 5 if she hasn't met min steps. Text messages and calls appearing on screen is a great perk.

I bought this as a replacement for the FitBit Flex for my mother. She loves the fact that she now has a screen so she can track her steps! The screen can be a bit difficult to wake at times, but overall, she is happy with it! Moving from screen to screen requires a tap on the display. It is difficult to do this at times when you tap the middle of the display, so tapping a bit off, towards the corners, is recommended. Great product, and with a few updates (such as having texts being displayed longer on the screen), it would be perfect! I would give it a 4.5 out of 5!

The only reason I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars is because it doesn't have the heart rate monitor. The latest Alta does. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do and is a great product.

I have been wearing a fit bit for a number of years and recently upgraded to the Alta. its stylish and functional. It was so easy to add the device to my fitbit profile through the app. Very happy
