I bought this for someone as a gift. They have had it for almost two months and love it so far. The steps can move when riding in a car or somewhere where your arm is moving around slightly without walking but gives you a pretty close idea on steps. The heart rate monitor isn't the most accurate but gives you an idea. On both accounts the same issues are going to be had with other manufacturers I assume until the technology improves. The text notifications are great if you have your phone in your pocket or purse and cannot hear/feel it.

A watch and much more. Keeps track of your activity. The program for your smartphone keeps track of your calories in and out. Easy to use.

I wore the large Fitbit for a year and wanted a smaller, more girly version. I own a Samsung phone and tried a Samsung smart watch. It crashed after 60 days. Luckily, I bought the 2 year replacement warranty (which I never do) and Best Buy issued an immediate store credit. I bought the Garmin as a replacement and returned it two weeks later. I hardly wore it and the watch face scratched. It hadnt even been to the weight room at the gym. I bought another FitBit product and have not had any trouble and love the smaller version.

Got this for my husband for Christmas! He's an active guys already but he wanted this to give him extra motivation. I think the feature he likes most is the text notification-which I find funny because he got it to motivate his fitness! He does take it off at night, however, because he said it was digging into his wrist-a common complaint we've heard from others who have it! So it all depends on what you're wanting it for!
