    I bought this new Fitbit 2 for my wife because she had gone through two of the previous Fitbits by having the strap break of and we almost changed brands until we looked at the specs and decided to give Fitbit another chance. We're glad we did because this model is vastly superior to the previous one in many ways. it was so good that I gave my old one away to a friend and also purchased a new Fitbit 2.

    I got this to replace my recalled Basis Peak which I REALLY enjoyed. This has a smaller form factor, which is nice, and the app provides a good range of information, although I miss the more detailed sleep info my Peak provided. Hourly reminders to move provides good motivation to get off my seat at the office. Discrete modes to track different activities is a good idea, although I am not clear what impact this has on tracking and I tend to forget to check in and out of activity mode timely during a workout. Overall pleased.
