Would be a 5 if band system was good.

This occurred on both Charge 2’s we purchased. I will say that we know several people who have not had this issue with theirs. We prefer the Fitbit brand but went with another because of this. We recommend Fitbit but maybe not this model

The new one will track weight lifting and treadmill activity. So this one has more features and abilities. Band seems better too. I really didn't like the teal color so I order a dark blue from fitbit, it was easy to replace. So far it is definitely an improvement from the original!!

Initially not thrilled to wear on wrist, but all features sold my husband, especially the sleep tracker. We went out a purchased another one for me even though my Alta was only a year old, just so we could keep track and compare our individual stats.
