Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

Cool device, but I keep having problems with it

This device usually works really well for me, but if you and since I've had issues with it. Some of the issues I've had with this is the time not being updated after being disconnected from my phone and the device not being able to connect with my phone.

Good functionality but display fails after a year

Bought this when released and worked like a charm for 15 months. It was waterproof, synced perfectly with smartphone and displayed messages etc. after 15 months, the display started to fade, reached out to Fitbit and they said it's a manufacturing defect and since its after 1 year, they gave me a 25% discount on current products. Researched and found that its a common problem to fail after a year. I have had a Garmin which is still running strong after 5 years and this $149 device fails in 1 year. Not going to buy a fitbit again.

This Fitbit was great until it died 4 days after use. I had to ship it back to FitBit and it's been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for the replacement. I should have waited for it to be out for a bit before I jumped, maybe they would have all the bugs fixed.

I got this mainly for keeping track of my walking steps...I was disappointed in the irregular readings I was getting. I also did not like how you had to TAP the screen over and over to make it function, swiping is so much better. Returned.

As with all other FitBit devices I’ve owned over the years, they’re good for a year then something fails. In this case, it was the band attachment to the device. We got a replacement band which then failed in a few months. I’ve sworn off FitBit devices. I now use an Apple Watch and it’s been going for 2+ years with no problems. Yes, the initial expense is greater but it’s much less expensive in the long run. My advice—stay away from FitBit products; they appear to be designed to fail about the time the warranty expires. I don’t know about other activity trackers other than my Apple Watch, with which I’m fully satisfied.

Band is very poorly designed. Even the aftermarket ones. After 3 broke I bought a less expensive smart watch and have had no problems with it's band.

    Not very accurate for distance

With no god I found that the accuracy of distance traveled was very poor. You can increase accuracy by calibrating your stride length but this is really only good on the same course as your stride changes depending on route. Returned the tracker

I worked with customer service at Fitbit over 3 days and was not able to get my Charger synced. They would say they would call back and did not including the time I was bumped up to the next service lever. I will not purchase another Fitbit.

I had one and the band broke. Replaced the watch with the warranty and eventually the entire watch fell off and I never realized it. I would never buy this crap again.

Very disappointed in FitBit, this is a replacement for the first one purchased. BestBuy no longer covers them as part of their warranty process due to the issues they were having with returns.

My wife wanted a fitbit because she works out. But after so many false readings about steps counted through out the day (with ever arm swing there's a step counted). She does not like it at all....

Bought for wife, previous version was junk. Like every other Fitbit, hers fell apart from normal use. This one appears slightly better, but I would bet money that it too will begin to fall apart.

I feel like the step count isn't accurate, it shouldn't count If I scratch my head. Also, I wish I could reset the daily steps.

Only used this for about six months before giving in and getting an apple watch. I'm much happier with the apple watch, which does all of the things I wanted the fitbit to do but better.

Save your money and just buy a heart rate monitor. It will count steps while driving, typing on a computer, scratching an itch basically anything where an arm movement is involved will be counted as a step.

I liked the slim size, but the metal clip wasn't very comfortable. The fitbit app and website were usable, but ultimately I returned this tracker because it wouldn't directly update apple health on iphone.

My Fitbit charge 2 is so helpful throughout the day, guiding exercise frequency and extent. IT also protects against overworking my heart at my age!
