Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

I will never buy a fitbit again, not only have I owned multiple ones and they have all had issues like the bands falling off or failing but there is no setting for when you bicycle. I have been bicycling even more and the fitbit people have not come up with a setting or update to take these into accounts. When it comes to fitness items like this you are better off with an Apple Watch.

This fit bit only worked for 20 days before it stopped working. The store employee was great and allowed me to exchange with no problem.

With the new update, it is hard to access information or add other info that used to be easy, like water consumed and exercises done.

Not worth the money. Not accurate and the wrist band is a pain to put on and off.

Started acting crazy after a few weeks. I see why best buy no longer offers geek squad protection for fitbits

Have had to replace the unit twice. Display recently went out and now it is out of warranty. Still displays info by using the app. Heart rate does not accurately track when using the treadmill. Also, fails to track stairs accurately. Have owned 2 different models with similar results. Will not be purchasing another Fitbit Product.

    Cracked after warranty ran out

There is a design flaw in this model. A crack appeared in the middle of my screen after 14 months. The warranty covers 12 months. Fitbit offered reduced-price replacements. That was not enough for me after spending $150 on a device and it not last longer than 14 months. There is also a thread in the Fitbit community addressing this issue, and it is pretty active.

I am having a lot of problems with this new Fitbit charge 2. I have returned the first one to the store and I am having the exact same problem with the new one. The battery charges fully the first time and subsequently doesn't. I have changed the outlets, charged over 2 days and the battery indicator is still low.

When I bought the fit bit I was excited to get started. I noticed I was getting more steps then my partner, when we walked together. He has the same fit bit. I thought it was because of our stride difference but soon realized mine was not accurate. I decided to actually count my steps as I walked. My fit bit was off as much as 1000 steps more than I actually walked.

I got this on impulse when I was in the store, to replace my old pedometer. I never got it to work. And every time I ask someone about their experiences with fitbit, I find they had the same experience, and had to go through several replacements. I have better things to do with my time than sit on the phone waiting to talk to customer support.

Fitbit counts your steps, but it also adds to count by swinging arms. Band did not last 6 months.
