Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

This product breaks way to easily. It's supposed to be worn while active but band snaps too fast.

I have tried all the tips from Fitbit help. Device frequently stops reporting my heart rate no matter how it is positioned or how tight or loose the band is. Have also tried both auto heart rate detection as well as setting heart rate detection t on. Nothing is reliable during exercise.

Syncing is a problem if you have a Mac

The Fitbit Charge 2 is a nice device, but the Fitbit Connect software you use to sync and record your activity does not work well if you are using it on a Mac computer. The software is very unstable and has to be re-loaded on a regular basis. I have reporting this to Fitbit and they are unable to find a solution. So if you have a Mac, don't but a Fitbit.

I bought the Charge 2 based on reviews that it is better than the HR after my second HR broke. Unfortunately, the tracker is highly inaccurate (calories far too low for exercises) and it fails to autorecognize all exercise. At this point I'm using it as an expensive pedometer.

Not a good product at all. Battery discharges rapidly, HR off by 15-20 BPM vs chest strap, HR tracking stops altogether for long periods of time. Would return if not for Best Buy's absurd 15 day return policy - which I was reminded of when I tried to return it 17 days after purchase and told I couldn't. Way to nail the customer service thing Best Buy.

I reviewed all fitness trackers for one month before buying this product. This got the highest reviews. I bought it primarily for the heart monitor. This product has worked once out of 4 times I brought it to the gym. Very disappointing!! I will return it as soon as I can.

Returned the Fitbit because it added over 2500 steps each day. The accuracy is way off. Went to the web to see if it was a fluke with my device... it wasn’t. Lots of complaints on this issue. My advice...don’t waste your money because it can’t tell the difference between steps and other activities that utilizes arm movement.

I was so happy with this product until it just died a little after 1 year when my warranty expired too... shelling $160 for such a product (late 2017) only to last 1 year is a sheer waste of money.. I would recommend some other product which provides better customer support and have good value for money..
