Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

This thing isnt accurate at all. It goes on how many times I moved my arm. 1 swing of my arm equals 5 steps. My s health app on my cell phone is more accurate! Save your money!

Doesn't have the features most others have and is not accurate in counting steps, a worthless product in my opinion

I bought 2 of them - same fate with both. Straps break within months, watch stopped working after a few more - both are now wasted

    Worth upgrading

have owned Fitbit products over last few years and usually upgrade every summer. I had high hopes for Blaze, but it was a disappointment. But the Charge 2 is worth upgrading from Charge 1. The bigger display is intuitive, but is a fair bit thicker too. There's a same old button on the left-hand side of the tracker that is used to skip through the menu options, such as steps, time, heart rate, and calories. One nice improvement is that the band can now be swapped out quickly and easily by pulling at the edges of the band around the tracker. Charge 2 can still not be weared while swimming, but it is water-resistant, so you'll be able to sweat on it or run with it in the rain without having to worry about water damage. The biggest addition to the new tracker is Multi-Sport tracking. This was a feature introduced on the Fitbit Blaze last year, and allows you to track seven individual sports including running, walking and yoga. For the sporty-minded, this is the big reason to go for the Charge 2 over one of the older devices. There's also a new Guided Breathing feature, which will monitor your heart rate for 30 seconds and then set you a breathing challenge to help it improve. Overall the Fitbit Charge 2 isn't a massive advance on the Fitbit Charge HR – the heart rate tracking tech was already there, and the design has improved a bit.

Misses too many steps. When my wife's Alta reaches 10k steps, my Charge 2 has less than 7k. I'm using now a phone app and it coincides with the Alta.

The Fitbit Charge 2 activity tracker web site is useless. Not helpful in setting up the Fitbit to function.

I was so pumped for cute colored bands. The teal stained in days no matter how much I cleaned as directed it was grossly discolored so I returned it.
