Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

nice thing, not really useful, but fun. and you will have to buy another band for this tracker, as original do not last for long time. really useful features: clock and notifications from the phone nice to have: step count, floor count, automatic exercise detection, sleep tracking not so useful: heart rate measuring not accurate electronics is of good quality. the band is not: lasted less that a year and not covered by warranty

Tracking my steps and HR all day

Love my new Fitbit Charge 2. Helps me track my steps, which I realize I could do on my phone alone. However, also pulls in my food, heart rate, and sleep to be able to monitor all daily activity in one place.

It's great! Looks great in black! It's very good for cycling, running, and it's great for keeping track of your sleep. Get one!

I had an Apple Watch gen 1. I was not happy about how it kept track of fitness information. VERY POORLY!! In reviewing the Fitbit Charge 2, I realized this is what I had been looking for. Granted it doesn't have many of the smart watch features that the Apple Watch had but most of those were novel more than functional. I've had the Fitbit Charge 2 for a few days. The App is out of this world compared to the Apple fitness app (what a joke!!). I'm looking forward to what this will offer to me as I set off to getting in better shape and losing weight.

I had it a week before I was able to get it to work with my computer. It was a simple thing I didn't understand and there were no directions when I got to this page in order for me to continue. I got help and then I was able to finish the pairing/syncing. I love it now. Everyday I learn something else. I am a senior so that might have contributed to my initial problem. Best Buy price right now is the best I have seen and I researched it a lot. I highly recommend the Charge 2..

This is a good product but the buyer should know a few things. Some settings have to be changed through fitbit.com instead of the app. Instructions on forums are not always clear about this. Syncing is sometimes an issue. In the week I've had it I've had to remove and then reconnect it to Bluetooth twice. Charging is quick but the charger needs to "click" into place or it won't charge. Overall it has done what it advertised and I really like it.

Nice Upgrade from 1st Fitbit Charge

I had the original Fitbit Charge for about 2 years, but had to get it replaced (warranty) after 9 months because the non-removable bands wore out. This is a nice upgrade! I've wore 5 months now without any issues. I bought a leather replacement band 2 months after having the Charge 2, but so far the original blue band has worked marvelously!

Fashionable and functional. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is because while sitting down at work it counts "steps" during arm movements so I remove it.

    Great Replacement

I originally had the Microsoft Health Band. I overlooked its bulky size and short battery life but loved the software. Eventually, I have to replace it. The Fitbit Charge 2 was a wonderful upgrade. Easy functionality, user-friendly app. The only thing missing would be the built in GPS.

I just had the fitbit charge hr and I loved that, but it started to break and had a bubble in the band, so I upgraded to the fitbit Charge 2. I honestly love this one more. The mobile notifications show up better, and it is just more user friendly. I highly recommend this product.

    Poor Quality

I had my Charge 2 for seven months when the screen spontaneously cracked- and I do mean spontaneously. Initially, I loved my Fitbit. It was sleek, unobtrusive, and functional. All my family and many of my friends had Fitbit; we all loved them, especially the ability to interact with one another via the app. Then, one morning, I woke up and there was a crack in my screen. I had left it charging overnight on my nightstand. I wasn't wearing it and thrashed about; nothing fell over on the night stand. Literally nothing happened to the thing, and yet it was cracked. I was disappointed but it still worked, so I continued to use it. Unfortunately, before the day was out, two more cracks developed. I was literally sitting at a desk when this happened; the cracks weren't caused by damage or clumsiness or environmental factors-- this was a quality control issue. I assumed I'd received a one-of-a-kind defective product. I was wrong. Google, customer service, and the Fitbit forums revealed that this is a widespread issue- across many of their products. Fitbit is "aware of the defect", but I'm out of luck- I paid roughly $150 for something with a seven month lifespan, because Fitbit doesn't feel this is their problem. I loved my Fitbit, and contemplated buying the Surge or the Blaze to replace my Charge 2. Research revealed that those products suffer from the same defects. I'm not shelling out another $150 to $200 for a product that never should have made it past quality control testing. As much as I dislike the Apple Watch, at least the product has been proven to stand up to conditions harsher than sitting stationary on my nightstand. You've let me down, Fitbit, and I'm spreading the word.

Very happy with my purchase, been 3 weeks so far. Hands down the best fitbit made and I feel there is a lot of value given what it costs. The heart rate monitoring is much improved (still not perfect but much better).

I bought this thing for my wife and plan to give it to her for Christmas. I am sure she will like it since many of her friends have one too. I might get one of these things for me to track my sleep patterns. Sweet!

I bought this for my mother as a gift for her birthday. She loves it. She was able to set it up and start using which speaks volumes because my mom can barely figure out how to facetime. So the fact that she can get it working right away means it must be very user friendly.

Perfect Christmas gift for my Mom! She really likes having a Fitbit and being able to use to track her exercise and sleep! And since she doesn't have a smart phone it is great that it works with her computer!
