Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

The second Gen Charge2 + HR has better response than the first gen. Also the battery last longer though I do wish they would have a consistent charger between models.

I got this and it works so well, I’ve had it for a maybe two years, the only probalem I have is that it’s not water proof. Other than that it’s good to go!

Can't recommend (Read forums before purchase)

Just bought this for Xmas 2017. THE PROS: The unit is comfortable to wear. The wrist bands come off very easily without tools so that you can change styles or colors. The clock, date and heart rate monitor seem to work well. The phone does scroll text messages when they come in. THE CONS: The step tracker is way off. Please read numerous complaints on this before you buy this unit. I don't wear it to bed and it's supposed to reset steps to zero at midnight. I wake up and go to put the unit on and it says I've already walked over 1,000 steps. There are forums describing how to reset the unit, etc., It worked once and the very next day it would not reset again no matter what I did. This problem has been happening for years in the forums and I haven't seen a fix from FITBIT yet after many years of this unit being in production. In my opinion, you will be disappointed with this product so, I can't recommend it.

My wife loves this item. Light weight with nice sleek design. She uses it daily to track her process. Worth every penny....

Upgraded from Fitbit Charge HR which to be honest did not last even a year before falling apart. Charge 2 has better, easier to view screen. Fitbit app works well.

Handy, durable, probably cheaper than Charge 3

There is a great need for us to lose weight. I had tried apps on my phone and also keeping complex charts saved on my computer. But boom, here's this gadget! Keeps you moving, it's comfortable and keeps track of a wide range of activities. My only complaint about it is sometimes the bluetooth takes a while to sync, but I think it has more to do with the phone you're using. But though the Charge 3 is the latest belle of the ball, the Charge 2 is one that gets the job done.

    Love the FitBit Charge 2

I bought this for my father for Fathers Day and he loves it. He had the previous model and it did not come with the continuous heart rate tracker. With his health as a priority, he values the tracking and reporting the FitBit Charge 2 is capable of. It is not bulky and is very discreet and when it comes to sleeping it does not annoy him as a full size smart watch would. I would recommend.

The device works well in every EXCEPT the band falls apart. This is my second one and only has 1.5 years of use and the band is broken. I carry the broken band device in my pocket, and it still seems to track steps, but can't us it as designed. For the money fitbit is a good fitness tracker, but I'm reluctant to buy another one because of the band issue.

Great Alternative to the Apple Watch

I purchase the Fitbit as a way to keep healthy all year long. Even though I would love an Apple Watch, the price point of the Fitbit is better. The app is easy to use. I track my calories and workouts via the app. I heard from others that the Fitbit is not as accurate as an Apple watch; however, it works fine for me.

I wore the watch for one day and broke out in a rash. My wrist start itching and getting irritated I had spots on my wrist. Everything else works fine but I had to take it off and will be taking it back because of the rash. A few other reviews did say that's a possibility you might get a rash so just be careful.

    Average tracker

This is an ok tracker. Early on, I noticed the heart rate monitor/calories burned during workouts was horribly wrong. I reached out to Fitbit for answers and they sent me a replacement. I still noticed the same issues; it will tell me I burn more calories walking than I do in an intense boxing class. Considering this is the main thing the product is supposed to do, it's a huge letdown. But I've just learned to live with the inaccuracy. Within a year, my screen broke. Thankfully I had my backup one once it got too hard to read the screen. But like the first, it too broke. I am just glad I got 2 for the price of 1 otherwise I would have been quite upset having to buy another. This will be my last Fitbit purchase though. It has not lived up to the money.

    Fitbit poor quality

If you are looking for a quality product, I would purchase something other than Fitbit. My Fitbit was purchased about 12 months ago. It has basically fallen apart. I contacted Fitbit and they would not do anything except offer me a discount on a new one. I have purchased a lot of products and when you spend around $100, you expect it to last. In my experience Fitbit products do not. I would chose a different brand.

    Comfortable and Nice Fitness tracker

I love my new fitbit Charge 2. I wish I hadn't spent the time buying a different (cheaper) tracker, and had just gone to this one. The battery life can be a little short, and the heart rate monitor can be a bit off sometimes, but it does a great job of counting steps, and flight and it reminds you to move.

Great tracker poorly built! Screen lasted over a year before it slowly became unreadable (partially screen unlit).
