Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Charge 2's accurate heart rate and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its ease of use and long battery life. Many appreciate the device's step tracking and the additional features it offers. However, some concerns exist regarding the band's durability and the lack of full waterproofing. The screen size and notifications are also frequently praised.

    dont buy

If you are buying one to read your heart rate while exercising don't look at any of the fitbits. I bought one and exchanged it when it didn't read right. The second one done the same thing. If you are going to walk in the cool air, you may be fine. Once you sweat a little under the watcs.h, which you will, it stops reading and reads like 89 beats when you are at 140 beat

Went through three of these in as many months. They all stopped being accurate. Go with another brand.

We have had 2 Charge 2's stop charging after less than a year of use. Now my Ionic is also failing by counting 1 step per second while sitting on my table and flashing on and off. Tech support was Zero help all 3 times. I will never purchase another Fitbit product and I highly recommend you do not waste your money.

    Check for compatibility

I have an LG G6 phone, typical flagship phone from LG. Ordered the Fitbit Charge 2 before realizing it does not work with the LG G6. Would sync steps sometimes and none of the other features would work. Customer service told me this was normal as my phone was not a compatible device. Look before you buy.

This product does not track your steps accurately I called fitbit and they made me do a step test out of 100 steps it only tracked 22 steps, I ordered a replacement from the company and I am having the same issue. I no longer trust this brand and advised others to purchase from another company.

Plan on buying another in a year

Fitbit quality is terrible. Have been using Fitbit for 5 years. Now on my 4th FB. Recent software update froze last FB. Only resolution is to buy new FB. I like the app and the ability to link with work wellness plans. However, this will be my last Fitbit if I can't get at least 2 years.

    does not work consistently

My two areas of interest, hours of sleep and resting bpm, do not register consistently. Today, for example, the fitbit does not indicate resting bpm at all. This is critical to me because I have Afib and my previous fitbit saved the day, literally. I find this fitbit useless in those areas.

Just bought it and it doesn't sync with computer or cellphone. I waited for a dongle for 3 days and it still doesn't work. YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET THIS PRODUCT! I spent about 2 hours on the phone with costumer service and three days trying to make this work and nothing.

Fitbit does not stand behind their product

My Fitbit is defective. I've had it nearly 1 1/2 years and Fitbit will not replace or repair and was told since it was over 1 year old and past Fitbit's 1 year warranty they could do nothing more than offer me a discount on a new Fitbit.

    The battery is not charging

I just bought a fitbit charge 2 and it is not charging. Very unpleasant that I have to spend time to a new product that should have been working and done basic manufacture tests. Will update the review in the future, but for now I am not satisfied.

    it requires location on!

Yes! Fitbit requires that you turn on location on your phone to sync. They claime that Google requires this. This is the ONLY app that requires that! Even Map gives you that option and I turn it on when I want to.

After about 2 weeks, my Fitbit stopped functioning. After calling the store was told too late to be replaced.
