    Works for My Needs

I've had multiple Fitbit Ones in the past and loved that little thing, but kept losing them (hence "multiple", haha). I read reviews on this watch before buying (most had noted bugs with the software and syncing) but somehow I ended up at Best Buy and buying it for myself as an early birthday present (funny how that happens!). I've had it for about a month now, maybe a few days shy, and I love it. I was always iffy about trackers on the wrist but it doesn't seem to be counting any extra steps. The sleep tracker and analysis is the coolest thing, in my opinion. There are some nights where it doesn't track the small details and it just records the general sleep even though I wear it for 6+ hours, but for the most part it has. I don't have any trouble with it syncing to my S8 but have had the problem with text alerts where old messages keep popping up. It doesn't bother me really - I just swipe them away and go about my business. I haven't allowed it to die completely, but I'm currently on day 3 since the last full charge and I'm at 68%. I probably find myself charging it every five or six days, sometimes not completely. All in all, this Fitbit works for me and I couldn't be happier!

I started exercising and dieting and wanted to know how many steps I take and how many calories I burn. This Fitbit charge 3 was exactly what I was looking for! It’s sleek and matches with everything. The battery life is fantastic, I charge it maybe once a week and I wear it everyday. It’s waterproof! I haven’t worn it in the water and probably won’t but it’s a bonus for sure. I personally didn’t want a smart watch with all the bells and whistles (internet, apps etc..) and the charge 3 is perfect for that. Overall I love my device and would recommend it to anyone!!!

I had an LTE Apple Watch 4 and decided that fitness and long battery life were priorities over "gadgets." Don't get me wrong, the Apple Watch is fantastic -- tons of useful apps, gorgeous display, nice fashion statement, and pretty reliable. However, for my needs (losing weight, connecting/coordinating with MyFitnessPal as I find it superior to Apple's Health app, sleep tracking without charging every day, and looooong battery life), this Fitbit checks every box.

    Nice Product But Needs Improvement

The Fitbit Charge 3 is well made and has great battery life. It performs its functions well. I wear it around the clock to track my level of fitness and to get feedback on my daily workout on the rowing machine. The primary reason for buying the Fitbit if for monitoring heart rate. This function works fine and seems to be accurate. HOWEVER... You must tap the screen to see the display or quickly flip your wrist. The display only stays on just long enough to see it. For me this is a MAJOR disappointment. When exercising I want to simply glance and see my heart rate. If this means sacrificing battery life I would gladly do it. The whole reason for getting the Charge 3 was to easily monitor my heart rate, Fitbit has thousands of feedback on this flaw in design yet seems to think it is not important enough to implement such a basic function. My other area of improvement is in the app details. It shows minimally detailed graph of heart rate. You cannot zoom it either. It would be nice to get a graph showing more heart rate details and/or some raw data. I do like the sleep monitoring app as it provides useful data that is well presented and easy to understand. So I do like my Charge 3 but now realize that to get real time heart rate information while exercising I will have to get a Garmin or Polar watch that uses a chest strap. In my opinion Fitbit is focusing too much on being a smartwatch company when they have such a great opportunity to be a leader in the fitness monitoring market. The bottonline is that the Fitbit Charge 3 needs some core feature enhancements in order to be a serious too for workout tracking. If you are considering a Fitbit for realtime heart rate monitoring you must know that to see the heart rate requires specific action for it to display. If you ride a bike, ski, row run, or are engaged in active sports this may not meet your needs,

Purchased this to replace my original Fitbit Charge HR tracker which had a very short battery life due to its age. I enjoy the new tracker very much, especially the specific exercise tracking and the additional detail it provides relative to sleep tracking. I had read several negative reviews concerning some people's difficulty in getting the device to sync properly and it erroneously recording thousands of steps while people are riding in their cars, etc. I have not experienced those issues at all and consider it a significant upgrade

Purchased as a replacement to a Fitbit Charge 3 bought earlier in the year and lost to some type of water damage. Although not due to abuse or misuse, it is only covered by a 6 month warranty and, of course, it was just out of this time period. The user was happy until the ultimate demise of the first tracker so another was bought to replace it and it has been stellar since the purcjase.

I have a fitbit for myself and love the step tracking, HR monitor and sleep monitoring. It has alot of other cool widgets but those mentioned were the main reasons I purchased mine and was not disappointed, especially with the batterylife, I've had mine since November and it still works great. I purchased this one for a friend's birthday gift and although she never thought of owning one she now wears it every day and since she loves to work out its upper beneficial for her to track workouts, calories, and water intake.

I love the fact that the 3 is waterproof. After having the charge 2, I was always worried I’d forget to take it off while swimming. I find that the display is easy to read, but doesn’t automatically light up as easily. I’m not sure how I feel about that yet. I love the different swipe options on the screen to get to what I want, though it did take me a bit to learn. All in all, very happy I upgraded. I also bought a few bands to upgrade to because I had many different bands on my 2

This is an additional, second purchase of an additional Fitbit charge 3 bought first for wife. Pros; every lightweight easy to wear and excellent battery life between charges (around a week) Also unlike competitors this recharges fairly quickly. The distance measuring application (with cellular phone assist) I found to be 99.5% accurate compared to a precision GPS watch . The heart rate sensing and measurement is also very good and the web interface works quite well and is easy to assimilate. The device is easy to use with the single button once you get the hang of it , moving between screens, which are uncluttered and easy to read which is useful when you in a hurry. I have been using this for continuous swimming and is waterproof as described Cons ------ The swimming distance measurement is not as accurate as desired as others have reported. This is especially true if you mix strokes and swim in shorter pools/laps. It is probably much more accurate over a longer distance if you solely swim freestyle/crawl, the software is probably geared to recognizing this signal motion. The software needs to be optimized for breast stroke and backstroke as well. This a side the one weakness we found was the fragile glass mounting , the first unit was dropped several feet (only) causing a fracture in the corner (hence purchase of second unit) but it does still work two months later and interestingly the crack has not increased unlike many cell phones. Obviously this unit is now not used for swimming . I would ideally score this product 9/10 or 4 1/2 stars on features and battery life and for the price it i sway ahead of the competition.

This is my third tracker with Fitbit. Awesome applications and love the fact that it is waterproof. Only thing is that I got used to Charge 2 having a face that has the time, date, steps as well as HR on one face. The one given here has HR or steps( where you have to tap screen to see them). Also as far as exercises, they don't have the work out option. Forced to chose run, elliptical, weights. Last, the reason this only gets 4 stars is that Fitbit still has issues syncing at times with Phone.

The new fitbit charge 3 is great. It has all the features I wanted. My only issue is that when I wasn't able to charge it quickly enough, the screen went blank for about a day, even after I charged it. It was still tracking things, I just couldn't see the screen. It came back on within a day and I have had no issues with it since. I really like being able to track my sleep and see the patterns.

My wonderful bought the Fitbit for me and I love tracking my steps, monitoring my sleep pattern: tracks REM, light and deep sleep pattern. Even how your breathing is while you sleep. Can also let you know if you may have indications of breathing problems while you sleep. It encourages you to take extra steps (ie: 150 more steps to get 15k steps, etc). Monitors heart rate (beats per minute). All this and it’s waterproof and very comfortable even if you wear it 24/7! Happy and recommend

So far this would appear to be a great Fitbit and the best part seems to be the battery life. It can get at least 8 days on a full charge which is by far longer than any previous Fitbit I have owned. No issues that I can report. Main reason for not giving 5 stars is that I have not had it very long and I cannot rate a 5 after only a few weeks especially given the longevity issues I have had with Fitbit over the years.

If you want something just for your workouts, this is the PERFECT watch for you! Water and Sweat proof, ni need to worry about your nice smart watch getting all dirty, sweat marks and stinky. You still can get your messages and phone call notifications while working out. Light weight and you dont even notice it on your wrist. Great sleep stracker too! Dont feel it while your sleeping. Feels like one of those rubber wrist bands. Getting about 6 - 7 days of use before recharging. Fast recharging, only a couple of hours to fully recharge.

This is an excellent tracker, heart rate monitor and much much more for the price. Being able to see text messages on it, plus monitoring/tracking steps, calories burned as well as allowing input of water in take and sleep is great. You can sync with phone and get weather info too. The best part for me is the increased width of the device so it looks more natural on my large wrist. I contemplated getting something like this and then not using it, but it has been on my wrist since I got it. Get it....you won’t be disappointed.
