Great product, super helpful.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for daily step counter, super practical. The app is easy to use and sometimes I don’t even feel the need to look at my watch. It has my sleep patterns, my heart rate variability and it keeps my resting heart rate tracked. You can also go on streaks, and it is a great motivator to hit your 10,000 steps everyday.

It's ok...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's cute but just ok. I'm used to the larger screen. And this one doesn't display as easily as the previous model. I'll keep it because I like the slim design and perhaps I'll get better at controlling it. The battery life is superb! I've gone a week before charging.

Almost a 5
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I did not give this Fitbit A5 is that the battery indicator is very tiny and there doesn’t seem to be a way to get notifications of low battery. So you have to pay attention every couple of days or it will just go dead without notice. Otherwise, I really like the look of it and all the teachers especially the exercise feature with mapping

Fitbit Makes All The Difference
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love all the offerings on my Fitbit. It also interfaces with MyFitnessPal to track my calories against my activity levels. Also, the sleep data is amazing. It helps me identify possible sleep hygiene habits to improve my overall quality of sleep.

A Better Choice When Fitness is the Main Goal!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was actually given a free brand new Apple Watch recently, and ended up re-gifting it to a friend, as the Charge 5 already does all I need in terms of accurately keeping track of my physical health and mental well-being, but also syncs perfectly with my other devices, including the Fitbit Aria Air Smart Scale I purchased. For my needs, it does a better job of allowing me to better monitor my health, keeps me just connected enough to my phone, etc. with notifications, that I don't feel cut off, but does so without going overboard, or simple feeling like nothing more than a fancy exstension of my iPhone. So, if health is a big feature of why you're looking into smart watches, this is the way to go!

Fitbit Charge 5
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Luxe, which is smaller than the Charge 5. I like this watch better, as I think it is easier to see and use the different functions. Love that I can easily see all the information I want to see at an instant.

Ok features, poor display
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you need the ECG feature, this device is a good choice. Otherwise, not so much. The available watch faces (shown) are cartoonish, cluttered, &/or otherwise hard to read. How can a face be cluttered *and* also not show much data? Fitbit found a way. It's particularly frustrating when you look at the clean, easy to read faces available for other Fitbit devices! Slashed is probably the "best" available face, and it's bright green, and many users are annoyed that the bottom of the time is cut off diagonally. It doesn't do a great job of detecting when a workout starts (I run on an elliptical machine), but if I remember to manually tell it I'm starting a workout, it tracks well. The step counter seems reasonably accurate, as does the sleep tracker. I think the O2 monitor is consistently low, but I can't verify because it only tracks when you're asleep.

Charge 5 decent not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like how the sleep data is broken down, assuming it is accurate. The step counts are definitely inaccurate in my experience. I also like to look at the “zone minutes” for workouts. However, it is weird how it calculates 2x minutes for peak etc. For example, you might workout for 60 minutes but wind up with 85 zone minutes. Other features such as resting heart rate, current heart rate, etc. seem beneficial.

A great fitness watch once once upon a time.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like most fitbit lately they work for awhile they they quit. Its probably my last one. I enjoyed using fitbit over the years, but recent changes to fitbit app, and removal of some features have made it less desirable. The short lifespan of my recent fitbit purchases have also made me reconsider purchasing another. I had to purchase another band, and then a third band when the first replacement didn't work out. Today 8/10 it won't charge properly after my morning swim. I'm uncertain it was low battery before hand or developed a short of some sort. Right now im bit stuck with 1% charge even though it seemed to charge to 24% briefly. i purchased it on sept 3, 2022

Not reliable
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned Fitbit Charge 5 since November 2022. When it works reliably I appreciate the informational functionality - especially the Sleep Score and Health Metrics. But sometimes the device becomes unreliable. The Charge 5 has completely frozen (if this happens try connecting to the charging cable). And, several times the Charge 5 has stopped syncing to the App and to the Fitbit database. A key feature of Fitbit is encouraging you to walk at least 250 steps per hour for 14 hours. I am attaching screenshots that show the Charge 5 knew that I walked 250+ steps for 13 of 14 hours, but it only synced 6 of 14 to the App & Fitbit database. I tried to fix this during the day with restarts, but it was not until I got home and did a restart while connected to the charging cable that syncing restarted. Unfortunately the Charge 5 is not smart enough to update the past hours when syncing was stalled. I probably wasted 2 hours of my time today trying to fix this unreliabilty.
