I've been looking for a gift for my boyfriend and this was perfect! It was an upgrade for him and he has been really enjoying it. Perfect width, loves all the features and that you can see them all directly from his wrist. The only thing he mentioned he doesn't care for is the little band loop to hold the end of the band down when on. That is minor and really at a personal pref for him.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I ordered an XL and got an XL. It syncs to my phone and computer (when the included dongle is inserted) without any issues. Fitbit app may leave a little to be desired, but it takes my pulse fairly accurately, and seems to track steps to within a reasonable +/- range like any other tracker. Water resistant enough that I'm able to rinse in the sink gently to remove sweat and dust, but I do keep the back portion with the sensor somewhat covered with a dry finger.
I was at the border of the last slot on a large and use the first or 2nd slot on the XL, so it's best to try one out if you can before purchasing. Overall it's a nifty device with great Fitbit customer service, and it functions well enough that once the battery finally dies in this I'll probably stick with the company and just buy the current model.
Battery life is around 4-5 days, with constant sync, double tap, turn to view and call notifications all turned off.

I am not an athlete. I have psoriatic arthritis and am down frequently but I was interested in the heart rate and sleep pattern information. However when I started wearing it I realized I wasn't as stagnant and still as I thought and I thought I had been a little too hard on myself .. I will make the added effort all be it sometimes painful to get that extra few steps in to get it Fitbit reward in. Yeh. I recommended it to a lot of friends and got it husband one as well. He loves his too. Just get ya one. You'll love it. Your worth it!

Not For Me On This One

I tried the Fitbit for two weeks. The Charge HR is not the easiest band to fasten on and off with that small nub that keeps it in place. It was more of a pain in the butt than anything else.
The Fitbit itself is a great way to motivate you to get out and walk. If you are not motivated already to walk then a Fitbit is not going to change your habits. Does a great job of providing you information of steps you walked, etc, but that was not good enough for me to have spent $127 on sale.
I returned mine.

The FitBit HR works fairly well. The distance is not accurate after many attempts to adjust the stride length. Does not sync well with Bluetooth.

I love to be able to keep track of not only my steps, miles, calories burned but also my heart rate. This activity tracker is a watch too. Easy to set up and use.

I love the simple features of the Charge HR and the sleek design is appealing to the eye. Unfortunately the xl was TOO large for my husband's wrist and I exchanged it for a large. My husband loves the workout and sleep tracking features. The HR monitor is accurate

This is a solid fitness tracker that will do what you need it to. It's not as fancy as an Apple Watch or a Blaze but it works just as well.

I enjoy all the options my fitbit has. I wear it all the time expect when showering however when I do lawn work and sweat it gets into the button and now I have to press it several times in order for it to display

Really like my new Fitbit. Sad to say it quit workin in just a few weeks. Fitbit replaced it without a problem. The new one arrived a week after contacting them.

Fitbit produces products that you'll love for a little while. Having used several of their trackers I have found overall product quality to be very poor. Have had bands separate, select buttons fall off under very light wear. Customer service is even helpful to start with but not so much after initial experience.

Love my little Fitbit however, it could be better. The Garmin definitely has a better LED screen available at the same size as my Fitbit. I also wish they would sell a 'dumber' version as I am unable to take wireless or Bluetooth enables items into my workplace. It's basically unusable during my daytime routine. Other than that, it's great for what it is. Seems pretty accurate.

I only had the chance to enjoy this product for 2 month before it is now just a paper weight... The fitbit is not waterproof, and if you call fitbit they will only offer you a 25% discount off next purchase.
