Its good to see things like sleep, calories, heart rate, steps, etc. I use the Fitbit app on my phone and I can get into challenges with my wife and even someone I go to school with. Easy to use, easy to follow. Fitbit gives you a calorie counter goal for weight loss, but I havent tried to use anything with that. Instead I use MyFitnessPal, which works in unison with the Fitbit. Overall, it lets me see many different things through the day.---My wife enjoys hers and uses hers the same way I use mine.

I really like my Fitbit-Charge HR. I find it motivates me to workout longer when I am close to my target. I like that it tracks my heart rate which is lower than I expected. It also keeps track of my sleep patterns which is very enlightening.
Only thing I noticed is that when I sleep, it occasionally digs in to me, as it quite rigid.
Overall I am very happy with it.

This product is awesome and worth your money. I have an iwatch and I totally prefer this product to Iwatch as it is more user-friendly, the price is cheaper, and the battery lasts for 5 days. You can track your heart rate, how many steps you walk, how you sleep and set goals for your exercise. There is also the Fitbit app that you can easily sync your data from your wearable device to your phone, and it will generate graphs of your health data so you can read it easily. Highly recommended!

Great priduct to get a general step count. Its not perfect i.e. if your hand is on something while u walk i.e shopping cart. So just be mindful of that. I got the scale as well and I love How everything syncs and you can view the info via fitbit app. I love to see how I slept as well. The heart rate frature is exciting as well...very interesting to see what your peak, fat burn, and cardio was for your workouts. Overall great product!

I purchased this as a gift. I does everything it is supposed to do. It lets you know how many steps you take and stairs you have climbed, your heart rate and even tracks your sleep. You can also track you're calories but I have not used that feature. Although it doesn't get all of the stair flights throughout the day it gets most of them, which isn't that big of a deal unless you are trying to beat your friends!! The App works well but can take a minute or two to sync.

I started with the Fitbit flex and it stopped functioning so I upgraded to the HR. It is great to have my heart rate, sleep tracking, miles, steps, floors and a watch. With the latest upgrade the watch now illuminates with a turn of your wrist instead of pushing the button.

This is my first time activity tracker purchase, and i am extremely satisfied with it. It tracks sleep, workouts, steps, floors climbed etc. I have a friends group now (from different countries) with whom we setup weekly challenges(through mobile app) and track each other's performances. Battery power lasts for 4 to 5 days. If you have setup the call notifications from cellphone, the battery might need to be recharged in 3 days or so depending on the call activity.

Fitbit HR is effective because it is rechargeable, auto-synchs, and gives good record of sleep time/quality. Shortcomings are no indication of battery charge status and the heart rate monitor is not always accurate except in a general sense. Under normal conditions it is a good reading. Under strenuous exercise measure is often inaccurate.

I got plum color have gotten a lot of compliments.

Great product, uncomfortable on narrow wrist

I have only worn the Fitbit Charge HR for 2 days, but I found it to be uncomfortable enough to return. I have a small, narrow wrist, and although I found the watch band size to be adequate enough to accommodate my wrist, the part of the watch that is not flexible (that has all the hardware in it) is too wide across my wrist. There are gaps on either side of my wrist no matter where I position it on my arm or how tight/loose (see photo). I found it to be most comfortable about 2 finger widths above my wrist bone, but it was still too uncomfortable overall. And this is too bad, because I really like the functionality of the watch.
The step count seems fairly accurate, as does the heart rate. I discovered the stop watch by mistake and really like that feature too. I also like the ability to tap the watch to get the heart rate (or time or ... - you can set it to a few different things.) I also like that the display is off until the watch is tapped or rotated. The tapping feature didn't work really well for me - tapping to get the display to activate. However, once the display was on, tapping to get the different screens worked really well.
Overall, it is a great fitness watch, but I recommend to those with small wrists trying it on in the store if possible.

Love my new fitbit HR. It was very easy to set up with the app. I wear at all times except when showering. Quite comfortable. The wristband is like for a watch so stays secure which was an issue with my older fitbit. Love being able to understand my sleep patterns and see my heart rate. The purple color is terrific and so much more fun than traditional black.

I absolutely LOVE my Fitbit HR. Besides monitoring my hear rate, the steps I take daily, calories, the amount of water I drink, etc. it reminds me to stay active and to reach my daily goal of 10,000 steps. It also tracks my sleep and I get a weekly report with my stats for that week sent to my e-mail address. I can´t recommend it enough. It is awesome!

I bought one of these for myself a couple of months ago, now everyone in my family has one. The challenges with friends and family is a great motivator and I must say just being able to keep track of steps, sleep, etc.. is very addicting. As far as accuracy the distance and heart rate have matched up well compared to the read out on the tread mill in the gym. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

It's really nice to have so many things in one product. The heart rate monitor and step counter is pretty accurate for the most part; sometimes the stair counter is way off. The sleep tracker is really awesome and I love the call notifier, but mine only works if I'm within a couple feet of my phone. I've heard other people say that theirs works throughout their entire house. The automatic activity tracker only works well for cardio, as you need 10 consecutive minutes at a certain heart rate before it starts keeping track, but you can start it manually too.
The only negative for me is that the nonflexible part is longer than my wrist is wide, so it fits kind of awkwardly and gets caught on things.

I really like the FitBit Charge HR. The convenience of seeing your heart rate and steps taken via the quick touch of a button on this FitBit is worth the price. I love the alarms you can set, the challenges, and the look and feel of the product. Sleep patterns are cool to review and if you take the time to add in daily food intake, calories burned is another helpful fyi.

NEEDS WINDOWS PHONE CALL and TEXT ALERTS!

Purchased the Fitbit Charge HR for my wife for Xmas. One of the reasons I purchased it was for the ability to notify her that I called or sent her a text, as she can't have her phone in her hand all day waiting on a call or message. Although the Fitbit has an app for Windows phones (pretty nice app, by the way), it says on the package that you can get call and message alerts from your Bluetooth phone. When you go to the site, it says to check the compatibility list. You find that it is not supported on any Windows based phones at all. HELLO, FITBIT! There are other phones beside Apple and Android out there! Please add it in your next update!!
The Charge HR is a nice looking unit with some cool features. Accuracy of footsteps and stairs is good, and data seems fairly consistent, with few variations. Really like the sleep and activity functions in the app. Very informative and all data is nicely displayed. Overall a good device, just would like to enjoy the phone alerts like the rest of the world.

I wanted to get a FitBit just to see how many steps I took while at work. I work in the food industry and always joke that I don't need to join a gym because of my job. I was amazed at not only the number of steps, but the miles that they equaled to. Sometimes it seems like certain movements it picks up as a step, but overall it is very accurate.
What I love about the FitBit HR is that I can also see the patterns of my heart rate and gives me a resting HR. I also absolutely love the sleep tracker. It has been great to see my sleep patterns and the quality of my sleep. This has allowed me to see what things I am doing before affect my sleep.
The FitBit is easy to use, and very comfortable to wear. I almost forget I have it on sometimes! If anyone is looking for something that is simple to use to track exercise, then I would highly recommend the FitBit HR.

I bought the charge HR to help me track my steps. It does so much more. It has helped me with my sleep patterns, motivated me to take more steps, especially when competing with friends and love that I can see who is calling me without having to respond when I am walking or in a meeting without having to take my phone out.Love that I can link other apps to help with food and water tracking.
the only negative is the strap. it is uncomfortable when sleeping or working and not very attractive. I'm not a person who sweats and it creates moisture which can breed bacteria under the fitbit so if the is a scratch, etc. that would not be a good thing. otherwise, i would give it 5+ stars
