I love my Charge HR. I previously had the Flex before upgrading. I wanted the HR feature. Easy to use and clean. I also love the sleep tracking - it knows when you're sleeping - so you don't have to manually input or tell the app.

I teally like this tracker and the different elements of competition that can be done. I'm very competitive so that will be an encouraging factor towards achieving my fitness goals. One thing that I don't care for is the customer service. When you report an issue it seems that no time is taken to read what you actually wrote but instead you receive a scripted response. That was very discouraging especially when this is such a popular device. It would be nice to see a more detailed break down of one's activities especially in terms of distance and time. The battery life could be better but hey what do I know. Overall it's a good device and when properly used it can help improve overall health and fitness.

This is a great product that really shows your steps, heart rate, and even your sleeping patterns! If you want to know how much exercise you're getting or want some organization with setting goals, this is great for that.

Within just three weeks of buying my FitBit Charge HR, I dropped 7 pounds and I've got more energy. In fact, walking is an addiction. At my last Dr. Appointment, besides thyroid issues for which I already take medication, my doctor warned me about my A1C (sugar) AND cholesterol. I'm in my 50's and I'm not dramatically overweight, just maybe 15-20 pounds. I now am motivated to walk my steps every day and do a workout. And I really do watch what I'm eating, both quantity and quality. Fitbit makes me keep tabs on myself. My only disappointment is that Fitbit does need to be charged about every 3rd day. So I charge it while I shower. If I had a wish list I would add waterproofing to it's list of pluses and I would improve that battery life. But this Fitbit, with the help of the App/Website is an asset in the war on weight and for better health. I hope to impress my doctor when I return in a few months. I've already recommended this one to my brother's fiancé, who recently suffered a stroke at 42.

I had the Fitbit flex as my first one. Using the app with it help utilize more of its features. I liked how small it was too. But it kept unsnapping and caused me to loose it. I received the Fitbit HR as a gift and I love it. I like having the time and date because now I don't have to wear both my fitbit and watch. However, it is a little too bulky for me. I like having all of the tracking features on the band itself instead of having to open the app. I love the sleep feature. I don't get good sleep so I find it very interesting when I go in and look.

I really love my fitbit charge HR. I had the fitbit charge before this one and fell in love. I prefer the HR's band, it's much more stable than the original charges's and I enjoy the heart rate monitor. My only complaint is the battery life. My charge only need charged once a week while the HR needs it every 3 days. I often forget about the battery and then it dies on me while I'm away from home.

Only big complaint is doesn't hold charge as long as I expected. Only a couple of days! It does register over 300 calories used before I ever put it on in the morning. Good heart rate , steps, !

The Fitbit Charge HR has exceeded my expectations. It's such an accurate, convenient way to measure physical activity from day to day. It definitely keeps you honest about how much you're actually up and moving each day. The Charge HR is really nice for workouts too. The continuous heart rate monitoring provides an excellent summary of the nature of exercise (Fat Burn vs. Cardio vs. Peak) as well as just a basic output of the number of "Active Minutes" per day. One other really nice feature is the Sleep Analysis (assuming you wear the Fitbit to bed). It's really nice to be able to look back over the past 5 days, week, etc. to see, on average, how much sleep you're actually getting.

I'm not athletic or into fitness, but I do walk every day. Because I can now track how far I am walking and my heart rate, I am able to push myself a little more because I can actually see proof of how much (or how little) I am actually doing. I have the fitbit Charge HR, which does not have the built-in reminder to get up and move once an hour, but the newer model, the Charge 2, does have it. I appreciate weekly summary emails from fitbit and the silly--but motivating--"badges" you earn for reaching certain milestones in your fitness routine. I also appreciate the sleep tracking feature. I have only had my fitbit for about a month, so it is too early yet to say how durable it--and the non-replaceable band--will be. I do not have an Android phone or i-phone, so must rely on the on-line dashboard on my computer. It provides a lot of good and varying ways to look at my exercise and sleep data if I want to see more than just that day's data. My fitbit band shows me my data for the current 24-hour period. A small complaint: the instructions say you must be within 3 feet of your computer (or smart phone) to sync your fitbit. Not true for mine. I have to take my fitbit off and place it on or right next to my computer. It isn't the easiest band to get on and off. Also, since no user manual comes with it, it would be helpful to have the URL address where it can be obtained included in the box. I discovered it on my own--after a week--by a circuitous route of links while looking for something else. Set-up also did not go according to instructions and had to be attempted several times. Overall, this was a good buy.

Purchased as a gift and it does it all. Sleep, heart, steps. Everything. Note: it should be worn further up the arm than a watch and loosely. Which means that if fits tight and hen purchase the next size larger.

Pros: easy to use, supported on my iMac and iPhone. Many food items already in database. I love that it keeps track of heart rate and sleep patterns. Cons: pricey, bulky on my arm, not fashionable.

The Fitbit HR is better than the other FitBits - lots of good data without overloading. Also like looking at my IPhone and see how I am tracking - calories, steps, and hear rate. I have found that looking at the steps makes me get up and walk because the goal is 10,000 steps a day. I do wish it would hold a charge better; I am averaging having to charge it every 3 days. However, it doesn't take me that long to charge so I do it when I will be sitting at my desk for a bit. The only negative is I believe the Fitbit should come in different band sizes - the small is almost too small and the large is large. However, I liked the FITBIT so well that I bought 2 for Christmas gifts -- and it is fun to compare progress with each other.

I've been using my Fitbit since the day I purchased it. I was looking for something with a heart rate monitor for exercise, as that more accurately determines calories burned. It's comfortable and seems to read accurately. I finally bought the Fitbit to get myself motivated to move. It worked! I love being able to track everything on the app. My exercise calories don't seem to sync well with my LoseIt! app, but that my be user error. I need to do more research on that part. The charge also doesn't seem to hole for 5 days. I charge it about every 3. That's not that big of a deal to me as it charges very quickly. Overall, I find it to be an awesome tool for my fitness goals. I pay much closer attention to what I am doing and eating now.

This is great for reaching optimal heart rate, keeping track of steps and distance, etc. The only drawback is remembering to take it off in wet conditions like before immersing wrist in water.

The first one of these I had was defective and I had to return it for a replacement. Best Buy exchanged it without one iota of trouble. In any case, I love this Fitbit. It really has helped me to keep motivated and moving so that I can stay fitter and lose wight (9 pounds so far!). I love that I can check on my heart rate while excersizing (so I know if I have to work harder) and love that it tracks my sleep. (Yes, I'm sleeping as poorly as I thought. It validated what I thought with evidence). I'm already lobbying my Dad to get one! I took one star away because the first one was a lemon and because the watch sometimes comes on in the night - wow, that can be bright!!

I bought this for my wife because the "Charge" I had previously bought for her was lost when it fell off her wrist due to poor latch design. Anyways, she really liked the Charge, but didn't want to lose another one, so we decided the "HR" was the way to go because of the actual watch like clasp on the band. She really likes the HR, but is disappointed how much shorter the battery life is. The HR lasts only about half the time of a Charge. We figured it was because of the constant heart rate monitoring and it's probably using the same battery as the Charge. In the end, she still loves it, and uses it everyday. -1* for much shorter than expected battery life.
