Don't settle for a cheaper product.

Even after doing my research, I went against my initial judgement and purchased a cheaper, similar product because it had a feature the Fitbit didn't offer. Within 24 hours I returned it to purchase a Fitbit. I am much happier with the Fitbit but, I don't like the short battery life. Contrary to the specs, it does not stay charged for 5-7 days, which is the only reason I did not rate the product with 5 stars. I did change the auto sync setting on the app, which helped some. The calorie and step counting features really help you stay on track. There are other features I would like to have, but overall I would say if the Fitbit is what you want, don't settle for the less than average similar product.

The product works as advertised. It accurately measures steps and mileage. It also tracked my sleep, noting each time I was awake or restless. It measures the calories consumed and those expended throughout the day, which helps me maintain motivation to both exercise and diet.

Love the HR. Easy set-up and use. Good battery life, only have to charge every 4 days or so. Favorite feature is sleep activity. Minor rash is the only issue but easy to remedy by swithching which wrist I wear it on.

I bought this for my wife to monitor a few things (heart rate and steps). The app for her iPhone and Windows 10 were easy for her to adapt to. The tap function of the FitBit was pretty easy as well to cycle through the monitors. No allergic reactions on her part to the materials used to make this device. However, the clasp and wrist band give her trouble and I even struggle as I occasionally help her get the device on or off. It can be difficult to get the device on or off quickly. My recommendation to anyone is to test it in store or a friends just to see how you do with it.

Upgraded from fitbit Flex to HR Charge. Love the additional features especially the floor count and heart rate monitor. Start a new work week challenge with my friends each week. Keeps me moving and motivated!!! Highly recommend this for anyone who wants to burn more calories!

I used a Nike fuel band prior to buying the Fitbit and after using the Fitbit would never go back. The info provided by the Fitbit is much more useful and seems more accurate. My only complaint would be not being able to view the battery life remaining on the unit itself.

This is by far the best fitness tracker there is. It's super accurate and easy to use. Last three days on one charge and it is super comfortable. You really forget it's there. It's also water resistance. Any stains like oil or something is easy to wipe off with a damp cloth.

Fitbit has been perfect for me. I wanted something that would measure steps and heart rate while also serving as a watch. Not only does it deliver on the things I wanted but I have been presently surprised by the great weekly summaries it gives on activity levels and sleep.

Great fitness tracker with some of the most accurate stats. The only improvement I could Stan to have is having it be waterproof. I seem to forget to put it back on after showers and swimming. Also the app could use a little help in user friendliness

We bought this as a gift but have two ourselves. The gift receiver loved it because it is so easy to use to track steps, stairs climbed, miles walked and even heart beat rate. We share our data and it has become a fun competition to see who can walk the most each day.

I wanted this tracker for the heart rate monitor. Not sure it is accurate. It seems different from the heart rate monitor on the treadmill at my gym. I do like it monitoring my steps. It's very easy to use and syncs with my phone and my computer

My first fitness tracker, would give 5 stars but is not waterproof and shouldn't take in shower/bath/swimming. Sleep appears to be accurate as is the HR. Steps is not always accurate as would like but good enough. Stairs function not very accurate.

I purchased this product for my daughter, but returned it because it was a bit bulky on her arm (small version). She has decided to go with the FitBit Flex. But the FitBit Charge measures more activity. She prefers fit/look over performance.

I did extensive research on all the watches that were for fitness and this one by far was the most accurate and easy to use! I love that it syncs with many apps I already use as well! Def. worth the money!

Works great, I just wish it was waterproof. The sleep application is very informative and accurate but it could be more comfortable to wear when sleeping so you are not so tempted to take off before going to bed. Overall, great purchase!

    Fitbit Charge with HR

Overall, I am enjoying my Fitbit. But I am disappointed in the fact that it has not given me that "jump start" I was looking forward to. Honestly, maybe it is my fault that I am not working out as much as I should have. I really believed that this thing on my wrist was going to get me motivated. About the actual piece. I wish that Fitbit would develop one that is really resistant to water. Living in South Florida, I would have loved to be able to wear this when I am swimming laps. There are other options out there on the market which you may use while swimming. The other issue I have with this item, is very superficial, but I wish the color of the bands were interchangeable like to base model. Finally, I would save my money on the HR version and just the genetic FitBit Charge. I don't find that the heartbeat is accurate.

This product not only tracks my resting and active heart rates, but it also has a sleep tracker built in where I can see the results everyday on my smart phone. I think it is an overall good product except that I hope that they can eventually be water proof.

I love that I now can track my calorie burn throughout the day whether I'm walking, running, or weight lifting. It tracks not only that, but when my heart rate is in the fat burn zone, my sleep cycle (didn't realize how restless I am in my sleep), and tells me how many steps I've taken and floors I've climbed. I work a desk job so it keeps me accountable down to water and calories I've consumed. Overall, would recommend, but my only qualm is that I wish I could read texts on it rather just being notified of incoming calls
