Fitbit Suits Me

I very much like my Fitbit Charge HR. I decided on this level of Fitbit to get because I liked the idea of being able to check heart rate, but the main reason I got it was to keep track of steps I'd taken for the day and distance walked. It provides me with a constant reminder of my level of activity and prevents me from being sedentary. The lady at the store recommended the "small" for me, and size is OK but the strap is rather short (and I have a thin wrist). To sometimes wear it higher on my wrist (as is recommended for certain activities) , I find it attached to the second from last hole on the band. I do like how easy it is to sync, though the small wireless sync dongle can be difficult to fit into my USB slot on my computer because it is so short--a slightly longer "head"would have made that much easier to grip and insert . The charging cable is also rather short--not sure why they thought that to be a good design. .It is nice to call up the "dashboard" and be able to see all the facts the Fitbit keeps on record, and so the advantages far outweigh any negatives. I would have liked more colors to be available in the store.

Consistently tracks heart rate, calories, steps, flights of stairs, and sleep to give you daily feedback on your activity. It's easy to use and this model has a strap with a watch type band clasp that doesn't flap. Presents the material in several formats on the computer as well as in a visual on the watch in real time. It can actually be motivational!

Got this for my wife and she loves it! She is not real tech savy, and she had it opened up and going within minutes. She not only loves the HR function and steps, but has really enjoyed seeing how much time she is sleeping at night through the APP. It also buzzes her wrist when her phone rings which she didn't even know it could do. Great Product!

this is the 4th one i bought. i got one for each of my adult children. We track steps, sleep patterns and heart rates ..We have made it fun and compare stat online ..
it does take some adjustments, so you dont pick up false steps,if you are sitting. my son plays guitar and could not wear it on that
strumming wrist, and setting had to be adjusted.

My Fitbit rarely leaves my wrist! I love how accurate it is, and I especially love that accuracy for tracking my sleep (or lack thereof). I've always known that I don't sleep well, but my Fitbit tells me exactly when I fell asleep and woke up, and inbetween those times, it tells me how many times I was restless and awake. This has helped me try and figure out what has contributed to my lack of sleep based on my data collected from my Fitbit!
I also like how it monitors my steps and heart rate. I like being able to see different rates for different workouts. Although this Fitbit is a little more expensive than the others, I feel it is a great purchase and worth every penny!

I purchased this product mainly for the heart rate monitor and got much more. I can check my HR anytime of the day. The other features have actually motivated me to get moving more and the sleep tracker is a bonus. My only complaint is that the battery doesn't last long. Box states about 5 days I can get about 2.

I love my new FitBit HR! I've always used a chest strap to monitor my heart rate during exercise. I MUCH prefer not wearing the chest strap and having my heart rate monitored at all times - resting, walking, exercising and sleeping. I feel I get a more accurate picture of my activity and calories in vs. calories out. It also sparks a little friendly competition between myself and my husband. Towards the end of the day, it is not uncommon for us to start asking how many steps the other has taken or how many flights of stairs we've climbed etc. It's motivated me to walk up and down the stairs at 10:00 at night so that I can be the "daily champion" - which sounds totally immature - but at least I was climbing stairs at 10:00 PM and not sitting on the couch watching TV (like I would normally be doing!). So, overall, I would say it keeps you very cognizant of your activity level and your overall fitness. It's even sparked awareness and friendly competition with my younger kids. They are now wearing pedometers and running circles around each other to be the "daily winner". I love that its keeping them active! I am hoping to be able to get the scale soon. I love that the fitbit synchs up to my iPhone and I can check on my progress throughout the day. And, I always look forward to looking at my sleep pattern from the previous night. Silly as it all may sound - its easily addictive - and I guess I could be addicted to something a lot worse than being fit!

I bought a small but need a large. I have very small wrist but still need a large. When you workout to get a more accurate reading you have to wear it 2 to 3 fingers from your wrist bone. Keep that in mind when you are measuring your wrist.

Easy to use and a nice web interface.
The heart rate and sleep monitoring features are excellent.
A wonderful motivator to keep it moving.
I looked at the HR Charge and Surge. The HR Charge is the size of a watch. The only negative is the fact that it is not waterproof. You can't take it into the shower.

I love that this tracker can be worn on my arm and has a screen I can check for progress. It keeps track of my total steps while showing me the active minutes I have walked, and showing me my heart rate. It tracks the number of flights of stairs I climb. It is so easy, very accurate, and motivating. Syncs easily with my phone app.

Great fitness product for counting steps and checking your heart rate. It also counts calories burned, miles walked, stairs climbed and tracks sleep. It also displays time and date. The band is lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Will sync all your stats to the Fitbit app on your smartphone. Needs charging once a week.

I love how I can keep track of my heart rate during my sleep and the fat burning areas. I like that I can keep track of my steps and it is easy to use. What I don't like is how easy the face scratches. I have had mine for about 5 week and I have scratches on the face just from my everyday wear.

The Fitbit Charge HR is really easy to set up and use. It measures steps, floors climbed, and sleep. It even alerts me when I have a phone call which is great when I don't hear my phone. It also has a feature where you can scan the barcodes on your food that you eat or manually put in other foods to keep track of calories.

Originally I bought this to track my sleep, and heart rate during workouts. I have a desk job so usually my active times are after work but with the fitbit it really motivated me to walk more during breaks. I set a goal reasonable goal for a desk job and it really helped keep on track.

A sale finally prompted me to try the Fitbit Charge HR - I absolutely wanted the Heart Rate tracking.
The good: It records sleep time, heart rate, number of steps, distance, and integrates with My Fitness Pal app, and at a reasonable price (if on sale).
The bad: It's not very comfortable, and the square edges of the band sometimes dig into the wrist. It took way to much trial and error to get it to report the current heart rate, vs. just showing the "resting" rate. And the changes required to make that work seem to be shortening the battery life significantly. It seems to get a maximum of 60 hours (2.5 days), although I'm just now in the pattern of charging it for the few minutes a day I'm in the shower, and it seems to be manageable.
It does what it advertises, other than battery life, and seems reliable. But would I buy again? Probably - though I wish I'd waited a few months longer for the new Fitbit alta band - looks a lot more comfortable and less obtrusive looking.

I received my fitbit for Christmas and I love it. It does a great job tracking my sleep, steps, heart rate. I absolutely love the silent alarm feature. Initially I had a Garmin vivo, but even though the band was pretty good I did not like the app. The App for the fit bit is really easy to use and tracks data very well.

I have had the fitbit charge hr for two months now, and I have not had any problems with it. The only bad thing about it, might be that it needs to be charged every other day, but you can just let it charge while you shower since it can't get wet anyway. I really like the sleep tracker. You can let it know when you're trying to sleep, and it'll tell you how long it took you to fall asleep, or if you accidentally fall asleep during the day, it'll know and track that. It is really beneficial to see how much you actually slept. The heart rate feature is cool, but it was not something that I really needed. I went with this one because of the latch on the wristband. It is a secure fit, and I am happy to pay a little extra so that I know I won't lose it. My mom likes it too, and I will probably end up buying one for her for Christmas.

Purchased my charge hr in late January. Since then, I've recommended this product to several of my friends. We use the app to monitor each other's fitness goals and ""taunt" members of our group if he/she didn't have an active day/week.
Fitbit keeps me honest about my activity. Towards the middle of my day, I know if I'll need to go home and run 3 miles to accomplish my goals or at minimum, keep up with my group. It also made me aware that I needed to add to my one hour of ballet barre 4 days a week to burn a sufficient amount of calories for weight loss. With a balanced diet, exercise, and Fitbit to aid in monitoring calories burned/steps/flights of stairs/water intake/heart rate- my body is changing and I'm loving the results.
Charge HR also has a gps that will track miles run, give you motivation along the way, and vibrate when you've accomplished your goals. It monitors your sleep patterns and sends you notifications throughout the day as you reach badges//milestones. I like the positive reinforcement and weekly emails letting me know my progress.

I have had this for about a month or so. I have a child size wrist and the SMALL band is nearly too small, but that is good because there isn't much overhang for the end of the strap to catch on. I like that the band the end of the strap goes into locks into the strap and keeps from slipping off. I like how the device monitors sleep and stairs. It is a little uncomfortable to sleep in. I have had to alter my favorite position to fall asleep in because the face is kind of hard. I have not had the opportunity to compare it to my polar strap for accuracy in the heart rate monitor department yet. I am hoping to get to that in the next couple of weeks. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend them make the small band a shade bit longer; and maybe rounding out the face or making it a little more square so it fits on the wrist in a more ergonomic fashion. Right now my device hangs over both sides of my wrist in an unnatural oblong rectangular shape.
