Perfect for What I Wanted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started with the Flex, but, by far enjoy my Charge. It is very comfortable to wear 24/7 and seems to have battery life superior to my flex, now worn by my daughter. I find having a display very handy because if I want to check how many steps I have taken, it is displayed on the Charge. No depending on my smart phone or computer. The display actually motivates me to exercise more. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something to motivate them. It works for me.

A great investment in fitness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my Fitbit Zip with the Fitbit Charge, mainly because wearing it on my wrist would be far more convenient and wouldn't be misplaced. Since it's always on me (except when showering), I also get a more correct total step count. The Charge added the sleep measurement feature - and that's useful, too. This item easily connects wirelessly to my computer and my smart phone. I apreciate how easy it is to charge, versus having to change a battery. A great purchase.

Good Tracker, terrible clasp
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tracker is good for steps and maybe some activities. I don't know what criteria it uses to track your other activities other than steps, but I think that the stair counter is way off. There also seems to be trouble with the glue on the band separating with time and bubbling. I had to return my wife's Charge HR because of that. The saving grace for that model though is that it fastens like a regular watch, so it won't fall off and get lost. The Charge that I am reviewing is a basic tracker and its main purpose is to remind you to move, so in that sense, it does its job. Most people may like the graphs and internet interactivity, that seems to work well. I have to constantly make sure that it does not fall off of my wrist and get lost. For that reason, I will not recommend this to anyone. Too expensive to lose that way.

Great Quality for Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very satisfied with this product. It has the features that I need, including sleep monitoring and activity/calorie tracking. I have an iPhone 6 and I can analyze my data for week/month. The battery charge lasts longer than I expected. The only down side is that there is a unique cord for charging, and if I forget it then no other cords I have for other devices will work.

Great For Someone Who doesn't Need Everything
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Admittedly, I am a minimalist. So the things I do use have to be functional. The FitBit is that and more. It track your steps, monitors your sleep, checks the number of stairs climbed, etc. But if you use the dashboard you can see your history, manage your diet and make some real changes in your life. It's a great product and it even tells time and can give alarms.

Good Fitness Overview
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love just checking my fitbit throughout the day to see where I'm at in regards to calories burned and steps taken. It is not completely accurate but has given me a good idea of how I'm doing overall. The sleep tracker is definitely not super accurate but I love the snapshot it gives me - especially on nights where I didn't realize how much I was tossing and turning

Great motivator
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch along with the fitbit app motivate me to be more active each day. I also like that it tracks your sleep pattern. My only problem is that the watch doesn't sync to my IPhone 4 so I have to log into a laptop to sync. The watch can go about a week before needing a recharge. It can be connected to other fitness apps making logging calories and activity more convenient.

So far So good compared with the Garmin
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my fourth fitbit. My first one I returned when they had a recall over skin irritation although mine never gave a problem and I wished I would have kept it. My second one came apart after about 18 months and in now in 3 pieces. I did have it on 24 hours a day and put over 3.2 million steps on it.. My third one was an HR and after several charges only held a charge for about seven hours. I returned it. This one that I'm reviewing I've had about two months and it seems to be working fine. I did get an extended warranty and would recommend that. As far as accuracy goes, on an open trail walk, my fitbit and the Garmin I have on my other arm, both match out almost perfect with the hand counter I also sometime use. Around the house there is a difference as the Fitbit reads higher than the Garmin. Not sure which is correct. The website is better on the Fitbit as it has more information and also sends an email every week on results. You can set it so it displays the time when you raise your arm up which I would also recommend. The Fitbit does need to be recharged every 7 to 9 days while my Garmin went fifteen months before changing the batteries. My biggest complaint is it is the Fitbit is NOT secure. It needs a band to lock it in place, like the Garmin has, so you don't lose it.

Good for the first 6 months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this back in February 2015 and the arm band is now starting to fall apart. It has started to peel from the screen to the point where half of the band will most likely break off in the near future and I will no longer be able to wear it. I've never worn it in the shower and have taken good care of it. It's wear and tear from simply wearing it every day. I'm not an extremely active person either. I have a desk job and workout about 3 times a week if that. It tracks everything fine, but it's going to be pretty useless if the material has detached to the point where I can no longer wear it around my wrist. I've loved it for the time it's stayed together. I'm just surprised and disappointed at the quality for the price. I thought it would last longer than a year at least before falling apart., but that is not the case.

Fitbit charge best fitness tracker outthere
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since my first fitbit flex. Which I liked but didn't enjoy how to interact with the device. I have tried several other trackers available. After being disappointed with how inaccurate they were. I decided to try the new fitbit charge. The display is awesome. The caller ID notification is just icing on the cake with everything else. This automatically detects when you are sleeping and when you wake up. No need remembering to switch modes.

Great for walkers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Fitbit. My first was a Fitbit one which I loved. I wanted the Charge because it included a watch feature as well as caller ID. I have loved this even more. It seems a bit more accurate than the one when comparing distance walked on Fitbit and another fitness app I use during my walking workouts. I would definitely recommend it. It is extremely motivating in encouraging you to get in your steps daily. I love it!!

Gives me info without going online
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the UP tracker first, but didn't like the fact that I had to use my phone to check my steps. So I returned it and bought this one. It gives me the time, steps, distance, etc on my wrist. When I don't want to wear it on my wrist I put it in my pocket. I did like the way the UP tracks sleep better, but this does a decent job, so I still prefer the Fitbit.

Fit4me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this, very addicting. You can compete against others, and yourself. You end up pushing yourself to walk those extra steps, climb more stairs, so you can hit your goal. Tracking your food and sleep is a great extra too. Can't imagine not wearing this now. I was never a watch person so was worried to buy this but you don't even know it's on, till you take it off and want it back on immediately, gotta count those steps right.

Very accurate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this... Very accurate on distances and easy to wear. I sleep with it and it records sleeping pretty much automatically, occasionally have to log it on the website. I charge it while i shower in the morning (although if you wanted you could wear it in the shower) cause easier to do at that point so it is recording your day. Fun to go up against friends in challenges etc.. highly recommend if you want to get fit or track progress etc...

Good tool if you can stick with it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My favorite part of the FitBit is the app that comes with it. Tracking water and calorie intake on top of exercise and steps (and even sleep if you want) is all fun and interesting data...but I found myself not wearing the FitBit or tracking intake after about a month. Great tool if you can stick with it...but I got a little bored. Serves as a cool watch though.

A welcomed improvement from the Flex model!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Fitbit Flex for a while. I liked it, but there were charging issues, the bands weren't very durable, and it didn't automatically track sleep. The Charge improves on all of these issues. The one downside is that it's a little larger, so less easy to conceal if you're trying to be fashionable. The battery life is so much better than the Flex model.

Great product to track your steps
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had this product for a week. I had to replace the original one I got xmas because it won't hold a charge. This one seems better, it's going on 4 days with the original charge. It tracks my steps, stairs pretty accurately. I didn't think I walked that much until I got this. I had an old school pedometer before and this one is light years ahead of it.

Does What It Should
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An excellent starter watch for monitoring steps and sleep. I should've ordered the Charge HR, which includes heart rate (I train several times a week), but this has helped keep me motivated to move around on the days I'm not training and it also does a decent job sensing my sleep patterns and providing immediate feedback. Well worth the investment.
