I love everything about my fit but except that it won't hold a charge for more than a day and a half.

I seem to have had nothing but problems with the Fitbit. I will not be purchasing another one.

Good so long as you understand its limitations.

Activity trackers should have two basic features to make them worth while. 1. Comfortable to wear. 2. Low maintenance. The Fitbit Charge has both. It took only a couple of days to get used to the feel and now I barely notice it on my wrist. I loosen one notch before bed and that helps. In the second aspect, Fitbit charge is low maintenance in that it only requires one charge per week and remove it during shower. Not a big deal since you remove other clothing for a shower. But what I mean by low maintenance is that once you initially set it up, pair it with your phone, charge it, and put it on, there's not much else to "do" to the device. It automatically connects periodically to your phone in the background, with no need to manually re-pair (unlike the Garmin Vivosmartt). It does this silently. The device also tracks all your steps, flights of stairs, and sleep without needing any input from you. You just "set it and forget it". You can periodically check your app or the online dashboard to see your stats, or just check stats on the device itself. But all the updating, pairing, tracking is all done seamlessly, in the background, and no need to manually do anything. The only setback is that it can pick up non-walking movement as a step. It is giving you partial credit for certain movements that are not actual steps but considered "activity". I wish this aspect was a little more accurate and clear about how it does this. And there is a way to enter in your drive time to the app to negate some of the recorded steps. Kinda takes some time, but I wish the device were better at differentiating driving from other movement. It's not a deal breaker since these extra steps are only minor and you should focus on percent increases in your total daily steps, not th specific number. However, at this time I would recommend waiting for the Fitbit Charge HR which does everything this does, plus monitors your heart rate. Should be available early 2015.

I have already reviewed one of the two I bought for my teenage sons as a birthday present. They did not even last a couple of months. Stopped working, nothing could fix them. Without a protection plan (based on my previous great experience with Charge) and past the 30 days for return, I just treated Fitbit with over $200 for nothing.

I'm so frustrated! The battery charge does not last. I have to charge the battery daily, but it goes dead between 3-5pm. I bought my son the same Fitbit, different color, and he has the same problem. It was a total waste of $200+ dollars! Mine has become a dust collector on my bureau. Buyer beware, you've been warned! Don't buy it!!

I received my Fitbit Charge activity tracker as A Christmas gift. I absolutely love it! It keeps tracks of how many steps I've taken, how many staircases I've climbed, my calories burned, total miles walked, and the best feature to me is that it keeps track of how restfully ( or unrestfully ) I sleep every day. I was amazed at how my times per nite I was not restfull and the total number of minutes I was awake each nite. The wristband syncs to my smartphone to give me my daily, weekly, and monthly readouts!!!

It would over count calories in my sleep and even if I didn't sleep with it, it still counted like 700+ calories burned starting at midnight.. And when I did my Zumba class at the gym or walked on the treadmill it wouldn't be accurate counting steps or calories ..

I bought a Fitbit for myself, no problems, I love it. I bought a Fitbit for my boyfriend and it is useless because it does not hold a charge for more than an hour. I have contacted support and tried their troubleshooting tips. This Fitbit is useless. Best Buy will not replace. Will not buy anything from Best Buy again.

Do not buy this! The wristband becomes warped and loose after a while, it's not an interchangeable band, so once your band is busted, so is your wallet unless you bought the warranty. Although even with the warranty, you're still gonna get a crappy product.

    Way better than the Vivofit

I ended up returning the Vivofit that I bought a few days ago and purchased a fitbit charge. I love it. It was really easy to setup and it tracks your calories burned, steps taken, miles walked, sleep and so on. It also allows you to download it to your smartphone with a mobile app. I love it. I have tried other food logs and it doesn't even come close to the quality of the for the fitbit. The only downfall that I can see is you do have to charge it. which I think sucks but what can I say. All in all I give it a 9 out of 10.

Product worked great. wristband not so great. for the month that I had this device it worked great except for the fact that the wristband needs some type of lock to keep it from opening and falling off randomly one time of which I didn't notice and I no longer have.

I got this for my mom for Mother's Day and purchased the extended warranty. She enjoyed it for the time it worked. The Fitbit stopped working after a few months and when my mom contacted Best Buy they wouldn't help her because it was not under her name.

I am a truckdriver. While driving I supposedly walk over 3000 steps every day as well as walk up 20 plus flights. Two different days I did not wear it at all. Both days I supposedly walked over 17 miles. The first day I also walked up 708 flights.
