I don't believe the Fitbit tracker is a serious tracker, but if you're going to have fun with it. I would recommend upgrading to the Fitbit Charger HR. The heart rate monitor makes a world of difference.

After about a week my Fit it needed to be charged every 24 hours. I followed the web instructions to save power but it did not help. I am waiting to hear from Fitbit customer service. Very disappointed!

We purchased the Fitbit Charge in June 2016 and by the beginning of September, it stopped charging. I'm guessing it's a manufacturing issue and I'll be contacting the Fitbit company.

The charge on this fitbit says it holds for five to seven days lies. It only lasts maybe two. I have tried restarting it on the charger and it didn't help. Not a good buy.

    Awesome fitness tracker

Bought my Fitbit charge about a month ago and LOVE it. Has lots of cool features to help keep motivated to reach goals such as total steps, flights climbed calories burned and miles completed. Love the caller ID so don't even have to pull out phone to see if need to answer it. Have friends and family on status board online w the app and it's great to see how I compare to each one for extra motivation. Gives u preset goals when u plug in all your info but u can always manually increase/decrease them. I've already lost 10 pounds using the device because it keeps me more aware of what I'm actually doing everyday. The only thing I'm taking a star away for is because sleep tracker could b better. It can't differintiate when ur sitting watching a movie or actually asleep and counts more time for sleep but u can also correct it manually as well. Would recommend this version or higher for anyone

I am doing a 90 day fitness challenge, and am using My Fitness Pal to track activity and calories. But I was just guessing at my calorie burn for my TerraFit workouts (High Intensity Interval Training). So I wanted a more accurate way to track my calories burned during my work outs, as well as just my daily routine. The FiBit Charge is AWESOME! (The only reason I didn't pay the extra to get the FitBit HR is that the majority of reviews I read stated that the heart rate tracker was not accurate). I love that it tracks my calories burned as well as my sleep. You can log your food as well. I love that if you are using My Fitness Pal, you can sync your two accounts together so you only have to input your information at one site, but can see your data from both places. I had a Best Buy Gift card to use towards my purchase, and I cashed in some SwagBucks for Best Buy money. I could not be happier with my purchase. My only complaint (and this is my own fault) is that I thought it would be nice to get the blue band, instead of the black. And now I find out there is all kinds of FitBit jewelry accents you can buy from Etsy or Ebay or even Amazon... so now I'm wishing I HAD gone with the basic black one. It was money well spent! And I know I'll continue using my FitBit Charge even after this 90 day fitness challenge is over!

    Simple and effective

Sometimes simple is best. For what I needed, this did the job. All I really wanted is something to count my steps and track my sleep. Since this uses Bluetooth vice Wi-Fi, I can actually wear this to work vice the Nike bad.Only drawback is that the bands can't be changed. Hopefully the band will last a while.

For anyone looking for a solid fitness tracker, this is definitely one of the best in the market right now! With similar features to the Charge HR (except for the heart rate monitor), you will have most of the metrics you need to keep track of your active lifestyle or even begin your journey toward becoming more active! Highly recommended!

The first one I purchased broke within a week and had to be returned. I've had the replacement one for about 3 weeks now with no issue so hopefully it remains good. The battery life is excellent so I only charge it once every 8 or 9 days. The Fitbit app is average, there's better out there but it also links to MyFitnessPal which is really nice. Step counting is about 99.5% perfect. The band is comfortable and I don't even realize I'm wearing it half the time. Sleep tracking works nice although I don't really check up on it..seems like a pointless feature. Overall I'm happy with it. Glad I purchased this version and not the Charge HR/Surge HR. I'll stick with this watch + a BLE HR monitor (that's actually accurate).

I liked my previous FitBit, but the added functionality in the Charge has me absolutely loving it. Being able to show time is nice but the callerID is a great feature to add. Also, I've only had to charge this once in about 3 weeks time, so the battery life has some longevity to it.

I bought this for my fiancé for Xmas. He really loves the pedometer aspect and the sleep tracking. It works well and we are happy with the product. It also holds the charge for roughly a week.
