FitFit STANDS by their excellent products

I purchased my Fitbit CHARGE for Valentine's Day of 2015. I bought two for myself and my girlfriend. After a couple months of use, the rubber bands began to peel off. We contacted Fitbit/help and they replaced both items. Two-day shipping. Completely free. This happened again another six months later. We live in CA, so it's likely that the heat and whatnot made the rubber and adhesive play not-nice together. Contacted Fitbit/help again. Replaced the Charges again. Free. I could not be more happy with both the product and the customer service. Buy this and get fit!

    Great Product...But

Purchased the Fitbil Charge in February 2015 after waiting since December. So far this has been a good product for tracking heart rate, steps per day and overall activity levels. The reason for the 3 star is for the band which cannot be changed and the spring clasps broke after two months. Fortunately, I was able to get the band fixed at a jewelry store but this is not something you would expect after two months. If the band is cut or damaged it cannot be replaced. Also, I have also experienced minor skin breakouts on my wrist. Big guys beware, i have a large band on have to use the last hole on the band. I love the watch and all the features but the issues with the band prevent me from giving it 5 Starts. I must add that Fitbit offered to replace the watch but I had it fixed locally.

Having a sedentary job and being overweight, I needed help. I bought the Charge at the recommendation of a friend. One month in and I've lost ten pounds. This device has helped me to visually see my calorie intake for a day, measure my steps and compete in challenges with friends. I have recommended the fitbit to my daughter and she now has one. Best purchase I've made in a long time!!!!

    Better than the Flex

I originally purchased the FitBit Flex, but didn't like the fact that it didn't have a digital display. I love that this one has a digital display for the time, total steps, miles, calories burned, and stairs count. The flex doesn't keep track of your stairs at all. I much prefer the Charge to the Flex, but I wish the Charge allowed you to switch the band out. Mine is getting a little worn where it connects, but FitBit replaced the entire product for me, free of charge.

    Disappointed in battery life

I'm not new to Fitbit. I've had the Fitbit One for 2 years and love it. I purchased a Charge last year for my son and it has been great. My One stays charged for at least a week. His Charge, from last year, lasts almost a week. Unfortunately, the most recent purchases have not performed as well. I bought a Fitbit Charge HR for my husband and returned it for a Charge because the battery in the HR would not stay charged for more than 2 days. We thought it was because it was constantly reading his HR. So we purchased a regular Charge and was disappointed to find the battery would not stay charged in it either. I don't know what changes Fitbit made in a year but it's not good. We returned this one too. It's unfortunate because Fitbit is a great tracking device and has a wonderful app and excellent customer service.

This was a gift for my not so tech savvy mom. The fit was good and did not bother her at all! Setup was easy and the app was VERY easy to use. She understood it right away and has been using it non-stop. Our one complaint is that the battery does not last as long as it should. It needs to be charged every 2-3 days when it should last 7-10. Otherwise, she loves this product and I even bought myself one!

The feel of the band is something that is very important to me. This one nailed it. The screen is easy to read and very easy to interact with. I have no qualms with it, other than the fact that there is currently a saturated market for this type of product and I felt the pricing could have been a little more competitive.

I purchased this for my 13 year old and she loves it! Many of her classmates wear one, and besides looking stylish, it actually works as a tool to keep her (and her friends) motivated. Sadly, the band seems to be falling apart, but hopefully this will be covered by the warranty.

    It's Good, But....

It does some cool stuff and it's goal oriented which is nice. One very big issue I have with it, is that it isn't water resistant. Understand I didn't say water proof, I said water resistant. Sweat actually glitches this thing out. Sweat. A wrist band that is designed to monitor workouts can be shut down by sweat. Also, I have a recently released phone but it isn't on the list of compatible devices. Apparently every Samsung phone but mine is on the list. So I can't use any of the bluetooth features on my band. Also, it only has the ability to record walking or running without linking to a second party app. I might recommend this to a friend but I would tell them to shop around first and find one that is most suited for their activity.

This tracker has been so much more accurate than several that I have tried in the past. I really wanted to hold out for the iWatch, or whatever it will be called, but this is fulfilling needs until then. I really like the fact that I can see the time and also be notified of incoming calls. Very nice features.

This is by far the best tracker I have ever had and I've had a jawbone up and up24 and both misfits. Fitbit makes things easy. The app is easy to use and it links with my myfitnesspal app. I would recommend this tracker to my anyone!!!

Nice item, but wristband is faulty

I got my Fitbit charge for Christmas. It seemed to work okay even though no instructions were included with it. I went tothe Apple App Store and got the free app. I got it all connected easily and was using it. There is no problem with the electronic gadget itself, but the band does not have a traditional hole/pin latch like a watch. The bank is a type of snap together thing that comes undone if it catches on something. This happened to me two times in ten days. The first time I noticed it, the second time I didn't and the Fitbit was lost.

Purchased this item for my son in law who gained weight after giving up smoking. The Fitbit motivates you to keep moving. What used to be a smoke break at work now turns into a quick walk around the block to get in some steps.

I use my Fitbit on a daily basis. it is nice to have a display on the device so you don't have to check your daily progress on the app each time like the flex. Overall it is a good fitness tracker and I highly recommend it.

I purchased this for my son for a gift. He is really enjoying being able to track his activity and steps. I like that the step count is shown right on the band vs having to access the app on the Flex model.

    Tracks while you sit

This tracker has great features. But it counts steps while you're sitting. I have a desk job and it said I walked .50 miles while sitting. It was frustrating. I did like that it gave me info on my sleep. And it had an alarm. The calorie counter was great too. Didn't want it since it didn't have an accurate step counter.
