I got this mainly for tracking my sleep patterns but with it tracking my footsteps I discovered I average about 16,000 steps at work. Perfect for active walkers/joggers. Battery lasts for 3-5 days on one charge. 5/5

I bought this for my daughter who wanted to share the fun with her friends. It's been a great way to connect and stay motivated. Now, my whole family has a band and it looks like I'm next The only negative is that there seem to be times when we have issues syncing.

It completely died after 6 months of use

I really liked my Fitbit in the beginning. My favorite feature was the alarm. I could get up early without disturbing my husband. I also had no idea that I was easily walking over 20,000 steps a day just by walking the dogs, working out, and running after my two kids. Six months later, my Fitbit won't charge, won't sync, and it's basically useless. There is a woman at my crossfit gym that has been through three in the past year. It's a great idea, but the quality is low.

AWESOME! BUT... Band quality not the greatest

This tracker is AWESOME and I had ABSOLUTELY no issues with the quality of the tracker itself. BUT only 6 months in to ownership the band started to peel off the device. FitBit support replaced it without any hassle. The replacement did the SAME thing 4 months later so they replaced as well. Free of charge. Another 5 months and the 3RD device does the SAME thing. Loved it but I can't deal with this anymore. Their support is great but due to the quality of the BAND (not the tracker portion) I cant recommend to anyone. I even take it off to do dishes.

This item is great for keeping track of workout and steps during the day but the battery life is not up to standards and doesn't last the full 3 or 4 days like expected! Mine last 1 day!

When I saw this in the store, I was so happy I found it! Because in most of the Best Buy's around my area were out of stock. When I opened the box, the Fit Bit greeted me, and went through the setup. The Fit Bit synced wireless flawlessly and the steps counted were pretty accurate.

    FitBit Charge Slate (large)

Pros: Good Fit Not too thin or bulky Cons: The Clasp on the Charge HR is much better, feels like a watch. Somewhat accurate Step Count: the Fitbit One felt more accurate.

I finally lost my Fitbit One for the last time. Because the One isn't a wrist band style I have lost it a dozen times and spent too much time looking for it. So I thought to try out the Charge. It's great so far. And the tiny screen lets me know my step count so I'm not missing much from my One. One thing to note though is that I have always thought I had small wrists. Fitbit doesn't think so. I had to get the large and I'm at the second to the last hole for the clasp. If you look on the side of the box it gives you a guide where you can put your wrist to the box and it'll give you feel for the size you're looking for. And if you end up having XL wrists you have to order your Charge online.

I bought this for my husband as an anniversary present. He's pretty happy with it except for the stair count. That seems to be inaccurate. Everything else tracks the same as our treadmill.

This is a great device for any one that likes to challenge themselves to be more active. One of my favorite features is when you reach your step goal, the Fitbit vibrates and let's you know.

I bought the charge HR originally but didn't like the band. I ended up trying the Microsoft Band but found it to be too heavy and showed to much personal information. The band on the charge is much better quality and lighter!

    Don't buy this model

I purchased a Fitbit charge 3 weeks ago. After wearing it awhile I noticed that the band comes open very easy because it is not secure. I lost it during a busy day of normal activities. The wrist band is not secure and can be easily knocked off. If you are not constantly checking your wrist, you will lose this one. This is a serious design defect. Fitbit chose not to use the same clasp as the one with the heart rate monitor. I can only surmise that Fitbit did not properly test this device in real life day to day activities. Or Fitbit intentionally designed the device so that you lose it and buy another. Either way, I don't recommend you buy this until the defect is fixed.

Disappointed with Charge and the Fitbit company

First, I have owned a Fitbit since they first came out. I have purchased five for me and my family and was totally satisfied until recently. I upgraded to the Charge two weeks ago. It undercounts steps by 20% and frequently misses flights of stairs. My old One was very reliable. I contacted Fitbit customer service by phone ten days ago and spoke with a very pleasant women who asked me to perform a walking test, sync the Charge and then reply by email. After three emails to find out what's wrong the only response was "we are researching". What needs to be researched?, it doesn't work. I may ditch the Charge and return to the One until I can purchase the Apple Watch.
