Both my sister and I purchased the Fitbit Charge. My sister's Charge stop working after about 9 months. She contacted Fitbit and was given a replacement charge at no cost. My Fitbit stopped working after 11 months (just this week) and I contacted fitbit to get a replacement. Fitbit no longer has the charge in stock, and wants to send an Alta instead. I have been going back and forth with them for an entire week, trying to explain that the Alta is not a comparable replacement. I asked if I could pay the difference and get the Charge 2, and they only offered me a 30% discount on the charge 2. Not exactly customer satisfaction in my mind. I really like the Charge and was happy with it, but want to warn you that if you purchase the charge and it stops working, Fitbit will not replace it with the Charge 2. You will be given an Alta, which is much smaller. My advice, don't purchase a Charge at this point.

Why would an athletic tracking device not be water resistant?

I am enjoying my fitbit so much. Great product. Also Bestbuy provides great service when I shop online or in store.

I purchased this on 4/3, it did not last a week. I have emailed the company 3 times and have not got any help. There is no phone number to call. I finally am giving up on this company and bringing it back to the store for a refund. I do not recommend this to anyone. There customer might as well be no customer service department.

I was so excited to get this product. Worked great for 40 days and then stopped tracking distance or time. Customer service at Fitbit stunk. I now own a product that is less than two months old that could just go in the garbage.

I purchased FitBit as a gift. It was tried on after the 15 day return policy had lapsed. BestBuy wouldn't help and FitBit said I would have to buy another. It was the sizing tool on the box that led me to the wrong size in the first place.

I had a Charge for about 9 months before the latch broke and it would frequently come undone. Then the electronic component came loose from the band. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new one. From the time I received the new one it would only hold a charge for 2 days and now it has reached the point where it will not even hold a charge for 24 hours. I contacted customer service today and they said they would not replace this one because it has been more than a year since I purchased the original Charge. How is that they won't replace a defective Charge I have had for only a few months. I told them there are lots of new wearable devices out now with much more functionality and they are not much more expensive than a FitiBit. They offered me 25% off a new FitBit, but did not offer to replace. Why would I want to purchase another FitBit that is likely as poor quality as the two I have had? It looks like I am done with FitiBit. I would suggest you not buy a FitBit.

Fitbit charges $50 per year for you to see YOUR data YOU keyed into the system. If this would have been clearly stated up front I would not have bought this and would not be returning it.

Purchased last April. Was great while using first few months. I had a health crisis and did not use for 4 months. Kept it safe in my jewelry box. Wore this for a week and the electronic part cracked from band. This seems to be a common complaint among my friends. Online support was no help. With such little wear I would assume the product would hold up better.

This is an ok product. I do wish that it had more features but that is why it is cheaper than the other Fitbit trackers.

Band broke on the first one after 8 months and was replaced. The operating system locked up on the replacement after 7 months and was denied a replacement until I went on their support pages complaining. The latest replacement lasted just 2 months and stopped working. There will be no replacement. Stay away from Fitbit.

I did a lot of research before selecting the Fitbit Charge. It's nice, but I won't use it forever.

The band pops open making it easy to lose. Be careful!

I have replacement this product three times due to the band falling apart. I am now out of the warranty and Fitbit will no longer give me a replacement. I was happy with the functions of the product but it is poorly made. Fitbit does not stand by their products.

Product works well for 2-3 months. I'm on my third replacement in less than a year due to the band coming apart. The current replacement now only holds a charge for a day as well.

The fitbit went bad after a month. Thank God for the warranty.l
