It would receive 5 starts, but it is missing something that the Jawbone Up has, and that is a reminder feature that will remind you to get up and move after a period of no activity ( such as office work). Other than that the device is excellent, And the new version is water resistant, that is a nice benefit. Highly recommended!!!

The Fitbit Charge does what it says it will do, just did not like how flat it was on the wrist. Ended up returning and purchased Garmin Vivo Smart which had a better fit as well as the capability to allow you to read text messages and alerts. The only reason I do not recommend this to a friend is due to how it fit the wrist.
