I bought this item for my 11 year old daughter. She's a swimmer so we wanted something that was waterproof and I love the fact that she can use it to track her swimming. She also gets so excited when she's able to reach her goal for the day of activity.

I purchased the Fitbit Flex 2 to replace my original Fitbit Flex I've owned for four years. The Flex 2 had the features I wanted in being waterproof and able to give notifications for texts and phone calls. The band is nicer looking than the original Flex and the clasp seems to be more secure. It has the features of an alarm, sleep tracking (which is spot on in my case), and of course the step counter. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fitness tracker who doesn't want to spend a lot of money on one. This does everything I need it to do!

    Love my FITBIT Flex 2

I had the first flex and I really liked it. I don't need to have bells and whistles -- I need to know how many steps I'm walking each day. That is it. What I like about the new Flex 2 is that the band is thinner. I have small bones/wrists so I like the bracelets that are thinner. Also, this feels like different material. The old Flex I had to take it off every single night it bugged me so much; this one I do not have to take off. Some of the problems I'm having is that in order for it to be synched all the time, the bluetooth in my phone has to be on. But that isn't enough either -- I have to log in (I try to every morning) so that I at least get the notification for low battery. The bottom line is this part of the Flex could be fixed (I'm sure w/a software update?). The old flex you knew ASAP if your battery was low. It would last about a week. This one, even tho I sync most days, I don't know if my battery is getting low. Also, this battery expires after about 4 days. The new Flex I can use in the pool WHOOP - this is the BEST part for me personally. I also like the new dashboard where I can see how many hours in my day I've been active. And lastly, I do sort of use the sleep information -- I have no reason to use the food, or water parts. I would recommend this.

You can swim and record your laps with the Fitbit 2. It also vibrates when you get a text or phone call. It tracks sleep, steps, and miles.

So both me and the wife have a Flex 2. This model is small and doesn't have a display like some of the watch style data trackers. But that is what I like about the Flex 2. It's not big so I can still wear my regular wrist watch. And by using the phone app I can still track all my stats. Steps, calories burned, hours slept etc. It even vibrates to notify me if I have a text or call coming in on my phone. It is water resistant so it's ok to wear in the shower and even in the pool.

Ever since I got my FitBit I’ve been an advocate of it. Though the one I’ve got (the Charge 2) isn’t for everyone, I’ve convinced my wife to get one. She opted for the sleek design of the Flex 2. Its understated but gets the job done. She enjoys the fact it gently wakes her up in the morning and keeps track of her steps. In fact we have a healthy competition at the end of the week as to who has more steps. It’s a great way to stay fit and look good.

I bought this FitBit for my wife who is a swimmer. Many other bands aren't waterproof. This one is, it tracks swim strokes, and is an attractive, affordable alternative to other trackers.

I really wanted to love my Fitbit flex 2, but the battery life left me wanting. I like the fact the you can wear it pretty much anywhere as it's water resistant. I actually wore it while running a 5k obstacle coarse. It does it's job and relatively inexpensive. Fitbit states battery life of around 5 days. I find I have to recharge every 3. Other than that no issues.

I had a flex for almost 3 years and the battery began to fail, so I replaced it with this newer model that is very similar to the old flex. It's the basic model with no bells and whistles, no blood pressure or heart rate tracking, just steps taken and minutes of exercise, along with sleep patterns each day. Some people will prefer a more sophisticated model but this is all I need and want, and it is serving me well. I wear it all the time.

This product was great for the price, love that it is water proof. Even the one that cost more money isn't water proof. Easy to use, and easy to work, has some nice features.

I don't wear a watch normally so I wanted something really thin that I would actually wear without being bothered while awake or asleep. I like that I can wear it swimming and in the shower and that it vibrates for reminders to move and has the other alarms for calls and such. I wish the battery life was longer and that the reminder to move could be adjusted, like to 15 min before the hour, but ten minutes til works ok too.

This little thing is incredibly motivating and hels me move around more and exercise and be healthy. It calculates the steps, records sleep time and can also be used as an alarm. However this one does not record heartbeat. Also when in terms of type of sports, it sometimes records by steps, aka the movement of the fitbit. If this is what you want, just an everyday motivation recording device, this is awesome!

The Fitbit Flex 2 is the perfect starter tracking device. It's slim design looks good around the wrist. It's also comfortable. The big plus is it's water proof. You can actually jump in the pool while wearing it. However, it is just a starter. It does not have ALL the bells and whistles, such as heart rate. For someone who likes to keep it simple, yet functional, it works just fine.

This is my first Fitbit ever. I got the smallest one because I wanted something unnoticeable (not annoying during the day) and waterproof for when I do dishes and maybe swim. Am really enjoying tracking my steps and sleep patterns (more like non-sleep patterns).. the only downsides are that you have to charge it about every 4 days, and it doesn't measure heart rate. Other than that, well worth the investment.

With the App on my iPhone this tracker did well tracking my steps and gives notifications when they come in and lets me know of calls. It of course cannot answer them but works well as a notifier. I really do not need to answer the calls and notifications right then. i am not a doctor or anything. i do not need the complexity of a Apple watch. Battery life could be better but charges quick.
