I have purchased 3 Fitbit Shines. The first for myself which seems to work fine most the time and 2 more for my Fiance. With mine, I did notice that the app is slow, and seems to have constant issues with synching the info properly but other then that, for $60 bucks, I do like it quite a bit. Since I have liked how mine works, I ordered one for my finace. The first one I purchased for her worked good for a few days but then stopped working altogether. It died when we were on vacation out of the country, so I just reordered her a new one since it was easier at the time and there was not a BestBuy to try and return it to. She received that one last week, but it doesn't seem to be working for her at all and it only stays charged for about 12 hours after fully charged. She can't even wear it to bed because the battery is dead in the morning. Most likely out of luck on the first one I bought since she left it at the hotel since it didn't work but I am going to have her stop by BestBuy and try to get a replacement for the new one. I'll update when I see how they handle it.

Fit bit on training wheels missing the engine. The fit bit App and main purpose is to track your fitness level 4 different ways. 1. Track your heart rate while exercising to get you in the zone for cardio fitness. 2. Track your heart rate during the day to see irregularities or target stress that may occur. 3. Track your sleep to help you get on track for quality sleep. 4. The meditation program helps you get balanced and present. These are all great but none of the cheap fit bits utilize any of these functions. I re-purchased and got the Charge -2 that does all this and more. Don't waste your money on this unless you like to see lights and figure out the what the sequences and colors mean when they blink....really. 1980's had better technology...

Wanted a fitness tracker that was smaller to wear in addition to my watch. Loved everything about this FitBit...great app, easy set-up and sync with my iPhone. But the battery life is terrible! Worst part was it didn't give you any kind of vibration when it was low, so unless you were paying attention to the notification on your phone, you wouldn't even realize it was dead! I could barely get 2 days out of it, even with call and message notifications turned off. Decided to bite the big one, and went with an Apple Watch two weeks ago. Yes, it's bigger, but it replaces my watch and fitness tracker, so I'm ok with that. So far it's working out great! The FitBit is a good tracker, but I would suggest ditching the sleep tracking and charge it every night if you decide to give it a try.

Battery life is bad - not worth the price tag. This is a descent device; however the right price point for it would have been $50; nothing more than that. This doesnt even have a heart rate sensor and the battery is just trash and wont even last you 4 days. I had to return my first one and get a replacement as the first one would not pair up There are known quality issues with the fitbit flex 2. I would recommend getting the Fitbit Charge 2 for 150 instead and that is well worth the price and works brilliantly.

I got this in nov 2017 and it has been working fine until a month ago. I’m sitting down and the app says good job, you did 25 min elliptical. I’m so disappointed because it was very incouragjng to track the steps, you push yourself harder but with this malfunction I don’t really count my steps accurately, I don’t know what’s ghe return policy on this cause it’s expensive to get a new one .

As with all of my Fitbit purchases, all good things come to an end. If these products were made to last I would really like them. This was my 3rd Fitbit. I think I am done with them until they make a product that can last longer than a year. I really enjoyed the size and the fact that i could put the tracker in my pocket and go, but it just wasn't made to last.

The metrics are not the same as Alta

I've loved my Fitbit's until recently. I got the Flex 2 tracker as a second device that I could change out with a dressy bank, however, I've noticed that the steps on the flex 2 are always significantly lower than my Alta. I'm an active person and regularly hit 12-15k steps per day. I even wore both devices on the same day on different arms and the Flex 2 recorded 4k fewer steps than the Alta. Very disappointed.

Bought Flex 2 to track my swimming Unfortunately the unit does not seem to report correctly. It may work better for a better swimmer but I get results that do not seem to match my activity. I do not see a realistic correlation. I will try for a few more weeks but as it stands now I will be discontinuing use. Battery life is also an issue - prepare to charge it a lot.

    Sync functionality completely unreliable

    Posted

Worked great for the first month, but the sync functionality is completely unreliable and rarely works, and is generally less reliable than electricity in Nigeria, which is to say, it hardly ever works, even though my data connection works fine. I have seen a number of other complaints on message boards, and suspect a Bluetooth manufacturing problem.

I went with the flex 2 because my kids are swimmers and it is swim proof. Initially trying to sync with the computer's Bluetooth was a nightmare. After the first day wearing the flex 2 the kids were so excited to see their results. Unfortunately it took a dozen tries to sync with the app and the excitement had turned to frustration. Not sure this was a good choice.

Did not do what i needed it to do. It was too hard to keep track of everything. I upgraded to a Apple Watch since it’s so much easier to log and keep track of all workouts and such. Apple Watch is worth the money. This product is not

The band worked for about a month after I purchased it, then it quit. Even so, before it quit working it was a pain to sync. It took a long time and didn't get things right. The distances and calorie counts it calculated were almost always off. It was hard to accurately add new items to the food tracker in the app.

I only purchased this fit bit because my medical insurance activity tracking program doesn’t support the Apple Watch. I find that this fit bit doesn’t accurately track the number of times I stand or perform movements throughout the day. My Apple Watch does a much better job of tracking my daily activity

on the phone for several hours with Fitbit customer service, plus Geek Squad had PC and Fitbit for several days and could not get it to auto sync. They even exchanged for another new Fit bit but same problem.Only solution is to manually update step count several times a day.

My original Fitbit stopped charging after working great for 1 1/2 years. So I purchased the Flex 2. It worked fine for a few weeks but then did not track correctly and would not sinc up. Fitbit is sending me a new one so that is great. I hope this Flex 2 works correctly.

After wearing for a little over a week I noticed my wrist was experiencing allot of nerve type discomfort along with some puffyness. Looking up info about this I find that some people do have this reaction to various electronic devices, RF, WI, Bluetooth, etc.

Returned the first one. Sync issues. Fitbit wasn’t much help in resolving the problem. After exchange, it worked properly for about a week... then the sync issues returned! It’s kind of hit or miss. So... went back to my misfit shine instead.

This is my second fitbit device and I didn't care for it. Plus it stopped syncing with my phone after 2 weeks. I still have the fitbit one and used this one in addition. My fitbit one continued to sync, while this one didn't. Took it back to the store.

I purchased this item to track my swimming. It did not appear to be user friendly. The tracker would only track after a couple of laps swimming. I never ended up using the tracker in the pool. I returned it after syncing it to my phone.
