Great product! Love the accuracy and how easily it is to sync to my iPhone. This makes it really easy to check my progress throughout the day. And I love the color! The only bad thing is the wristband is difficult to get cleaned once it gets dirty

Got this for a Christmas present, and I've been wearing it every day. The tracker has three components: the tracking mechanism, the band, and the smart phone app (optional). The tracking mechanism is about the size of a piece of candy corn and completely sealed. It has some electronic contacts on the end for charging and such, and lights under a plastic display. The tracker fits snugly into the band and needs to be removed for charging and syncing to your computer if you don't use bluetooth to sync to the phone app. The app takes a few seconds to find the tracker and sync with it, but not too long. If you don't use the smartphone app, you'd probably sync with their website. Activity can be viewed on the app or the website. Since the tracker is on your wrist, it does rely on you moving your arms a bit while walking/jogging, etc. so if you hold a dog leash with that arm while walking, it may not pick up all of your steps. I ran a 5k with it on, and it pretty accurately logged the distance, and I didn't actively try to move my arms around or anything. The sleep tracking is pretty interesting and I've been using to get an insight into my sleeping patterns. It can tell if you're awake and moving (i.e. bathroom visits), or just restless in bed, and counts the total sleep time minus any restless periods. It may be a good indicator to see if something is disturbing your sleep (e.g. cat/dog/car noise, etc.) at a particular time each night. Last thing is there are ways to tap the device to put it into different modes, or to see what milestone you're at for the day, but it's really difficult to tell what's what with just a few lights. I find the app more useful for these things.

I LOVE my Fitbit Flex. It is accurate in the number of steps that I take during the day. I like that it is waterproof (to an extent) where you can wear it in the shower, doing dishes, etc. The wearability of being on the wrist means that it won't accidentally get left at home. It tracks sleep and can set a silent vibrating alarm. It is a great fitness tool, that easily sycs with a phone.

I enjoy my Fitbit Flex. It's very easy to setup & the app is easy to navigate. My only concern is that the band seems to fade after cleaning it a few times. Overall, great buy!

This is a great pedometer as no resetting each day and I get an email when the battery is low. They have a good web site with lots of individual window so can custom your dashboard. This does not track cycling or other activities though you can enter them manually. I find it a great motivator. The little lights show each 2000 steps (can be reset for different amount) and it blinks and vibrates when you hit 10,000. The band design is lousy (I lost my first one) and it is not an exciting design but the new colors make it a bit more fun. I read exact steps on computer.

I bought this for my mom a couple months ago and she absolutely loves it. She does a lot of walking, so this has been great for her. The fitbit has really motivated her to get 10,000 steps everyday. I would definitely recommend this product.

Fitbit Flex is small, lightweight, and looks good. It seems to count extra steps each day, so I changed it to think its on my dominant hand to be a little less sensitive to arm movement. I really like the sleep tracking function which tells me how much I'm sleeping vs. restless or awake during the night. Also, the wake alarm is great since it vibrates strongly enough to wake me up but it doesn't disturb my wife (unlike my cellphone alarm).

The Fitbit Flex is a great tracker and one of a few that monitors sleep. Very easy to wear and hardly noticeable. Sensitivity can be adjusted through GUI interface online; catering to the user. I found myself wearing the band too tight a few times from the impression left on my wrist. You have to manually track food and initiate sleep log which is easy if you can remember. Only complaints are the band holding the Fitbit device can stink after one active day (if you are that active it's a good idea to wash with squirt of hand soap) and the band fades slightly after about two weeks although a little bit of lotion while moisturizing your hands will quickly bring it back to life.

Overall I am very happy with my FitBit. It is easy to setup and use. It is water proof so I keep it on pretty much all the time. Some times it accidentally gets into sleep mode (clapping for instance). Also driving often cause steps but not a huge amount. Riding a street motorcycle causes a huge amount of steps so make sure you log your riding time so the steps will be excluded. I also purchased one for my wife a few days after I got it.

I got the Fitbit to track my exercise and sleep. I love the sleep feature. It allows me to really see how much I am waking up at night and am restless vs awake. I holds up very well in water (I swim 7 days a week) and keeps it's charge for 5-6 days. The downside is that it gets uncomfortable while sleeping. It's either too big or too tight, and often leaves a mark on my skin. Overall, I really like it and am glad I purchased it.

This little device does everything it says it will. It is lightweight and holds the battery charge for several days. It would be nice if it had a watch, but that is the next model up. This thing is accurate, colorful and worth the money.

I've tried the UP as well as the Nike Fitness band and the FitBit seems to be the most reliable in tracking the most accurate information. It is very easy to use and the colored replacement bands make it easy to wear with different outfits.

I got this after I saw co-worker use her phone as a pedometer. I thought this was easier to use, since you wear it. It tracks steps and sleep. You can also use the app to log other stats, such as calories eaten and activities the Fitbit Flex can't detect. It would be really nice if it was able to automatically track some of my other activities at the gym. I'm pleased with this purchase, and especially like the silent alarm feature.

Not only does the FitBit accurately track the steps you take, but FitBit also has a great website where you can track other activities, and the food you eat, water consumed, and collaborate with friends. It also tracks sleep patterns.
