    Useful gadget!

I would call it a useful gadget considering it counts my steps and also monitors sleep. Easy to set up, charge and wear as well. The band is quite sturdy yet sleek, unlike what I read in some of the reviews. I just wish it had a small monitor that displayed the steps instead of just having to guess the range of steps achieved by the number of blinking lights. it would have been perfect then. I know Fitbit Classic has that but it comes at a higher price too. Overall a satisfactory experience.

Works great, but the band broke after 2.5 months

Fitbit works great, but the band started breaking after only two and a half months of use. Called Fitbit customer service who was very helpful and is shipped out a new band. Battery lasts 6-7 days on average, then I charge overnight. Comfortable to wear and lightweight, if you want something less noticeable I recommend the Fitbit Flex as it's smaller and skinnier than the higher up models.

This is a great product for a goals oriented person. It is very easy to setup and it will track your steps, calories burned, calories eaten and also active minutes. I had a Jawbone before this and really liked the interface better, but it stopped working after 6 months. I have had some problems charging this, but after wiping down the unit and changing the charge source it works well again.

I love my fitbit. Not only does it keep track of my steps, exercise, and sleep like a champ, it motivates me to reach my step and calorie goal daily! The small wrist band fits my smalls wrists perfectly. I was worried that I would be bothered by wearing it to sleep and that I wouldn't like it's style with my daily outfit choices. But I have no trouble with it at night, and the grey wristband is neutral and blends right in with my outfit. Its the most functional accessory I've ever owned.

I'm not certain why, but this device motivates you to exercise toward a purpose and a goal. Perhaps it feeds my OCD! But I get my 10,000 steps in (and more) everday and I track my input of calories vs. those burned. It's easy and weight has been fallin' off of me! If the dang thing blew up into pieces right now, I would've got my money's worth. I'm down over 40 pounds over six months, and I've not been in this shape for decades!

I chose the flex over the charge and the charge hr because of its size. It's less bulky than the other two and does almost the same things. The actual band only shows your steps (represented as dots. Every dot is roughly 2000 steps). Once you hit 10,000 it gently vibrates and the lights light up. The bands are interchangeable. (Sold separately.) You need to download the app to actually see your results but it syncs easily with no effort. It's a nice simple pedometer.

I really like my FitBit. It does a great job tracking my step count, and I feel it is pretty accurate. It is amazing to see how little you actually move during the day, and you have to make it a point to reach 10,000 steps per day. The sleep tracking works great as well. It lets you know how restless you were during the night, and will show you how much and how often you toss & turn at night. The only problems I have with mine: -The band that holds the unit is starting to peel apart, but the bands are pretty cheap to replace, so it's not really an issue long term. -Charging mine can sometimes be a problem if the fitbit isn't positioned in its charger just so, it won't charge. After messing with it a little bit, it seems to work out, and will start charging properly. (My wife's fitbit doesn't have this problem) All in all, great product, and would definitely recommend!

I love my Fitbit.. It really is easy to setup and easy to use. I wear it everyday unless I forget to put it on. It syncs to my computer and gives you all you stats. If I had an iphone 4s or iphone 5, it would sync to that also. It gives the correct amount of steps (or as close as can be-I believe) and if you run it monitors that also. It also tracks the amount of sleep you get or if you are restless. I love the fact that on the app or through the computer you can have Fitbit friends who can encourage or challenge you to get more steps. Customer service is awesome and so is Best Buys service. It truly is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone. The only thing I don't like is, you have to work with the charging adapter to get it to charge. Once you figure that out it charges great.. Other then that it is a great device that tracks and monitors well..

I purchased this for my wife so she could track her steps during the day. It's paired with her Lumia 1520. She likes the Fitbit along with the Fitbit app because she can earn badges and track the progress of friends. The device itself works well and tracks her steps fairly accurately (she doesn't really use the sleep monitoring feature much). The one downside is that the plastic band is of sketchy quality as the band she used came apart. Otherwise a very good product.

I panicked recently when I thought I had lost my Fitibit - dug through the big recycle bin to find it. I had already planned to go back to Best Buy and get another one immediately if I didn't find it. It was recommended by friends whose opinions I trusted, and they were so right. All I have to do is tap it to see if I'm being as active as I need to be. It makes me park father away than I need to, and walk the aisles of the grocery store even if I just need a loaf of bread. The silent alarm is very helpful-a quiet vibration wakes me in the morning instead of a loud alarm. I love the sleep tracking feature-I found I'm sleeping better than I thought. I have been reaching my 10,000 step a day goal more often than not, and have found myself walking the length of my house at bedtime to reach the goal when I'm close! I also like being able to keep track of my water consumption. It syncs effortlessly with my IPhone, and holds a charge for about 5 days.

I bought these as a new years resolution. Works nicely with my apple phone to count calories and steps. Though the only thing I didn't like is some times while watching movies my heartrate drops and the tracker thinks I'm sleeping. Is nice how small and light it is so it doesn't bother my wrists. I would only wish they came with a longer charging cable and and a extra clip. Its easy to set up and battery last for a few days so. Overall was a great buy.

I am seriously in love with this and am never without it. It so petite, I hardly notice it. It really gets me motivated to walk more each day. AND The best part is the company is amazing. I lost my fitbit when I was traveling to see my sick uncle. I was so upset that I lost it, I looked everywhere, even tried the Find My Fitbit app, nothing. I told the company about the situation and they sent me a whole new one. I'm sure it helped that I lost it within 3 or 4 months of purchasing it and I bought the extended warranty. But this really meant a lot to me, this company really cares about their customers.

Just what I wanted...a reasonably easy to use, accurate pedometer to keep me honest in my quest to walk 10000 steps daily. The slim comfortable wristband was a must as I have a small wrist and the more elaborate trackers had wider bands. I like that I was able to buy additional bands. The dashboard is sometimes confusing to use and the exercise tracking is sometimes off, I think, so only gave 4 stars. I use it every day and have recommended to others.

I received my FitBit as a present and have worn it everyday. What I like about the FitBit is that it monitors how many daily steps I'm getting/not getting so that I can step up my activity level if I need to. The FitBit can also monitor my sleep so that I can 'see' how much uninterrupted sleep I get each night. One of my favorite things is that you can add friends and compete to see who gets the most steps each week. It's a great, friendly way to increase your physical activity.

I have lost about 7-8 pounds since I started using a Fitbit about 3 months ago. You can log just about everything you do, but I log my weight and sleep each day and because I measure these things, I can see that I need improvement and that is what I work for. It is also great to know you have reached a 10,000 step goal, and you can compete with friends and family to see who can get the most steps. My wife and I have actually done extra work so we can get the extra steps and win the competitions. The Fitbit is a great way for me to motivate myself to do the extra work, and then actually see it happen.

Great product! Very easy to use. Syncs automatically. Can wear 24/7, even in shower. Love the silent alarms. The only issue I have had, which isn't that much of a big deal is that sometimes I have to reboot my phone to get the fitbit to sync. Again, not a big issue, but what kept me from giving it an excellent rating.

I sit all day on my job and need to walk more. I try to take daily walks and the Fit Bit Flex helped me to realize I am not walking as much as I need to or thought I was. This basic model is all that I need to track my activity and calories burned. I love that it gives you a day, week, month and even yearly history to see your progress. Simple, slim and sleek, I don't even realize I have it on.

I bought the FitBit cause it was on sale and now I'm sure it was a good idea. Don't think you are buying a weight loosing device, this is an activity tracker to let you calculate how much do you move on a normal basis, how many calories you burn and extra, you can write down the calories consumed and hours of sleep, no, it does not monitor your sleep, you write it down. Overall it's a very good motivator to reach certain goals and to keep yourself active
